Im trying to remain positive for tommorow and I am but at the moment I have a horrible feeling that we are going to lose. I will probaly get abuse for saying this but where will our goals come from? Ameobi is mega slow and offers very little but Lovenkrands does get in good posistions but picks the wrong option all the time.

Wolves are on good form and will be going into this game full of confidence although Doyle is out I still think Ebanks-Blake is a threat because of his strength. Jarvis will be the main threat and he will be picking out Ebanks Blake with those dangerous balls in the box.

However one thing I would like to say is that I hope crowd really intimidate the Wolves players and help surge our team on to victory. 50,000 geordies behind the players and Pardew will be FANTASTIC.
My Prediction (Despite my bad feeling): Newcastle 1-0 Wolves - Barton Penalty

No one can blame you, it's one of those games. We have to take the easy chances, we always fail that and come to regret it, Bolton at home is a perfect example! Set-Pieces are going to be crucial I think.

Totally agree, except I'm remaining quite confident that we will nick a win, it will be very tough though.

Awful time for Best to be injured, our current best striker who's on form and looking confident and then BAM he gets injurd.. life eh?

Pardew will probably play a 442 with Ameobi and Lover!

My personal team would be(assuming Enrique and Ireland are fit) :

    Harper
Simpson Willo Colo Enrique(If not Ferguson)
    Barton Guthrie Nolan Guti
    Ireland*
    Ranger

*Depending on his fitness, will most likely come off the bench though, so stick Lover in there, I still rate him more than Ameobi.

Our strikers, our entire midfield and half the defence has potential to score a goal. I wouldn't worry too much.

Just been listening to the Legends, Malcolm MacDonald really needs to get his facts right. He said out of our 3 fit strikers for tomorrow, only 1 goal has been scored this year. No Malcolm, Shola scored at Wigan, Lovenkrands scored at home to West Ham and away at Birmingham. His point though still stands, this worries me dearly! We have goals in the team in Barton, Nolan and Guthrie has popped up before. We have enough to beat Wolves tomorrow, but I get the feeling that the players feel they are better than Wolves, they have to prove it and I worry that they won't. If we do win tomorrow, I will breath a huge sigh of relief and will believe we are just about safe.

2-1 Barton, then a late Coloccini winner.

I think their 2 danger men are O'Hara and Jarvis. The midfield which comes out on top will win us the game and with Barton and Nolan in it, I feel a lot more comfortable.

Had Tiote been playing, and Enrique was 100% I would be a lot more confident. But Tiote is a huge miss, would loved for him to play against Karl Henry. Guthrie has the footballing mind to dominate, he can tackle, but sometimes his passing lets us get caught. Jarvis and O'Hara are good players and love to run at the full backs, if Enrique plays, who ever comes up against him will lose, however Simpson backs off too much and allows them room to cross or even shoot(Aaron Lennon for Spurs), he has to be told to stand his ground and not give him the 5 yards that he always does.

Definitely.. no ''real'' DM there to protect the back four so we might be exposed on the counter.

Thats y I suggested it might be worth pushing Coloccini into midfield and bringing in Steven Taylor.

Right there CBP, we've got to think positive and get right behind the lads.

It means that Nolan is going to lose a stone tomorrow, he has to support the strikers but also can't leave Guthrie there on his own, them two will have to keep it tight and sensible.

Im hoping Simpson would have learnt from that mistake against spurs, but Nolan and Barton are the 2 players who can rally our players on. Not only that but barton has a brillant pass on him and we all know Nolan is a goal poacher. These 2 are massive players for us and tommorow they have need show steel in the midfield and set an exanple for the rest of the team and that is no SLACKING

I think Shola gets a little bit of harsh criticism. When NUFC are desperate, he turns up. He is good on the ball and always seems to be there for the chance. I reckon if anyone is going to score tomorrow, it will be him.

Sorry mate.. but Nolan IMO is very average in terms of ''general'' CM play(tackling, passing, creativity, technique, ball control, quickness, pace, he's not agile or nippy and can get caught napping at times).. nothing against him but against ''better'' teams we will get caught out because of his slowness but seeing as it's Wolves and there CM's will most likely be Henry and Mijias, with O'Hara acting as a AM/SS, then I'm confident they can do the job, hopefully.
