Davide Santon cuts in from the left and feeds Cisse on the edge of the area, who turns to arrow an unstoppable strike past Petr Cech, who is utterly helpless. A stunning effort to give Newcastle an early lead. GOAL - Bolton 0-1 Tottenham (Luka Modric, 36 mins) It's been coming... and what a hit it is when it arrives. Adam Bogdan denies Rafael van der Vaart, and Bolton feel Sandro handles as he tries to meet the rebound... but referee Mike Dean allows play to continue and Spurs force a corner. When it is taken, the ball is fed out to Luka Modric about 25 yards out and he takes a touch before hammering an unstoppable shot past Adam Bogdan and into the top corner. Bolton are still unhappy that the corner was given, but it is a bit late for that now.
I will eat my hat if Newcastle perform at home like they have tonight in their next home game whoever it may be against. I will buy a hat and then eat it.
I find photoshopping United kits onto other players helps highlight incidents. The outrage would be mammoth.
Problem is Tiote is out, he's our most crucial player in the big games. And Cissé is hobling... but if they both somehow play on sunday. who knows what can happen. Shearer's been saying it all along... you would lose the derby but win the title.
