thought i would hint you lot in the direction of this, see what you think! http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/142062-Is-it-a-sport
I went to see WWE Raw at the O2 a few weeks ago. My son loves all that sort of thing, but I was a little reluctant to go. I must say, though, those guys are incredible athletes. Perhaps not sportsmen, but ultra fit, talented, dedicated and professional individuals they certainly are. My highlights were seeing Kane and CM Punk.
I'm not really a 'sports-fan' as such, so not really too fussed about whether things such as darts can truly be classed as sport. But Ponders is right, regardless of anybodys feelings on Wrestling, there's no denying the dedication and fitness of those wrestlers, even the thinnest wrestlers are still absolute tanks compared to the average bloke. Jose, I think Ponders just clicked the 'Edit' button and replaced the text with 'Duplicate Post'
Spot on regarding the duplicate post, WWOCB. You are right about the wrestlers, too. Look at Rey Mysterio: he is small and not as well built, but what an incredible athlete and showman. His 619 is pure magic!
