I feel sick!!

I have resigned myself to the fact that we are going down. Anything else will be a present surprise. The hope was killing me.

 

Bolton Passion v Spurs Flair, Spurs need to finish 3rd to guaratee champions league, spurs to win 2-0

 

There's nothing we can do about tonight, so I'm not going to dwell on it. However, I have asked my Spurs-supporting mate if they can score a hat-full....

Tomorrow will be a different matter, once we know what way the cards have fallen at the Reebok. A Spurs win will a) dent Bolton's goal difference and b) keep them below us. Then we move to the weekend, where if we can get a result at home against Stoke, and an in-form West Brom beat Bolton, we may well just need to avoid an absolute tonking in the last game to stay up.

A point for Bolton tonight and all that changes, as it's out of our hads, and we may well need to get a result at the Etihad to stand any chance.

Basically, if Spurs win tonight, I reckon we're even money with Bolton to stay up. If Bolton draw, we're odds on to go down, and if Bolton win, we're probably screwed already.

 

Dont want to depress anyone further but Spurs have NEVER won at the Reebok!!!!!

 

SOmeone told me this fact yesterday. I forgot about it. I think I erased it from my memory becuase it was the last thing I wanted to hear

 

A shameful statistic. If Spurs don't win tonight, I'll conduct my own personal campaign of "Harry Rednapp OUT"

Spurs win and we've got a decent shout still. A draw and we've still got a glimmer. A Bolton win and it's goodnight and thanks for coming.

The stark reality is that the Rs could be relegated if they lose to Stoke on Sunday and Bolton pick up 4 points in their games against Tottenham & West Brom.

Depressing, but true.

PS I can't believe just how quickly the last 12 months have flown by... and how different things were back then. Oh for those wonderful, optimistic days!

I'm old now. Days of first year are behind me and I'm trying to knuckle down for exams..... and spend my weekends at or watching football

 

Please don't take offence but I'm praying for a Bolton win for our sakes, hopefully a draw as it doesn't damage you guys too much that way there is a compromise
