    You make your own luck. Unfortunately Liverpool ran out of the raw materials needed to make luck: "skill", "talent" and "composure" about 22 years ago. The Merseyside luck factory briefly found a supply in 2005 but that was quickly exhausted <ok>

    I think we call it correcting the mistakes of others. We make our luck, everyone seems to think you have to buy it.

    Transfer windows would indicate this to not always be the case.
