Has anyone noticed there's a few decent players getting released by clubs?

Sky have reported Tomas Cyvka and Brian Howard released by Reading today... both decent enough players at this level and IMO would fit into the squad well! Richard Chaplow released from Southampton being another one.

If the Allam's do keep on their new promise of keeping the players we have here and add a few more, maybe it won't be all doom and gloom after all? Plus if I'm reading right, Barmby is going for last ditch talks with the Allam's later in the week so who knows?

If we dont have a manager in place to decide if he wants these players it makes no difference except other teams will be strengthening on the cheap not us

But if Barmby's last ditch talks don't help him get back his job, the Allam's already have someone else lined up.
Now as much as I hate them for the way they've treated two legends... IF they keep their promises they'll gain a tidbit of my respect back.

Not that confident NB would want the job back now anyway, and is prob in pub now as we speak eating pork scratchings and drinking copious amounts of stella as i type.Would expect the new man to be named next friday hope its McCarthy and an olive branch offer at least to NB for his assitant.
