No Ferguson paid £32 million for a bolshy Bulgarian that runs like a girl that has two wooden legs that smokes 40 cigarettes a day and has asthma.

When Berbatov is good he's good, when he's bad,he's dreadful. There is no inbetween.Possibly the most erratic striker to ever grace the premiership, what would you expect from someone that got outscored in the bundesliga by Andriy Voronin.

I thought my thread was enough regarding this topic. Obviously not. I'm not fussed about Reina, we have been through so much **** this year that it i wouldnt but an eye lid. Don't want to be here, then **** off. I don't care if you're Reina, Torres, Gerrard or the Queen.

Cannot stand these players disrespecting our club. Jokers.

Look you'll probably remember this, but didn't he play against us for Leverkusen in 2002 and do absolutely nothing. If I remember correctly Voronin caused us more problems.I know that Leverkusen team contained Ballack and Lucio who ended up at Bayern Munich. But I'm 75% sure Berbatov and Voronin played in the same Leverkusen team in 2002.

Sorry fowler, it was late, I saw this story on soccernet.com and was just peeved I guess. It just seems that everytime we get something positive, another article comes out with the same tosh but a different player/manager/scout/agent who knows exactly what the player has been wanting.

I tell you what though, when the book gets released titled " Liverpool 2003-2011" It is sure to have some fireworks! (Assuming every story is real and in detail) Crazy how up and down we have been through that time. 2nd to almost bankrupt!

Unbelievable the you scallies are saying Berbatov is a flop and a waste of money. Who is the leading scorer in the premiership this season?
Carroll 35 million, Torres 50 million Berbatov has to be worth 75 million surely.

But in a decimal point and you'll find Berbatovs value, quality players perform every season.Berbatov stank for the last two.Have you got excuses for that.
Man United fans before 2010 and this season had excuses for Rooney being non prolific. Before 2010,It was ''He's not a striker'', ''He's being played on the wing''.This season its ''He's had personal problems''.I do not think shagging prostitutes when your wife is up the spout constitutes a ''personal problem''.
It was self inflicted. In the same way what John Terry did was self inflicted and what forced Ashley Cole to the divorce court was self inflicted. If JT hadn't been humping his mates bird, and if Cashley hadn't been sending lapdancers pictures of himself in his boxers, only Cashley let Cheryl see his phone.D'oh,now that was bright.Neither would have got in trouble. So that was self inflicted.

I always though Berbatoss would make a decent vampire in a horror film, the laziest smoking Vampire ever.

Fergie just though he could get what other managers couldn't out of him, he was competely wrong, 30m wrong.

I dont remember Rafa making a 30m flop buy on one player. Not that this was Fergie's first top dollar flop either. Our three top signings Torres, success and ch-ching, Suares, looks good and Carroll, looks to also be good for us, early doors yet.

You seem to forget that some were tap ins and most were in few games, he scored half his tally in two games against non opposition, hardly the facts to support your argument.

You are also the first to rate Berba over Torres, you are out of touch with reality

I said the same about Alonso but I don't think most fans had the same attitude to him as other sulkies who want away.

Reina? He'll have to decide himself whether he wants to leave us on the up to take a chance somewhere else with no guarantees except one season of Champions League. Just as Torres was an example of how not to leave, he's also an example that the grass isn't always as green as it looks elsewhere.
