Are fans getting disilluisoned with Kenny? Fulham only opted for a few seats but that still leaves 3k unsold in the Liverpool end
It was a game where Liverpool were obviously going to put out a weak team with the FA cup round the corner. fans may be thinking about the final in terms of costing them a fortune and as already said it was a midweek fixture that didnt real mean an awful lot. Not suprising at all.
United Arsenal Chelsea Spurs all sell out Prem games every week. No excuses. Even when nothing is at stake. No wonder the Americans have dropped the new ground
Chelsea have more fans that's why they have a bigger allocation for the Cup final and have been given an extra 1,000 tickets
Chelsea fans are saving their money for Munich but I bet it's still full tonight. Just checked.SOLD OUT as is our last home game V Blackburn.
Not really an answer to your question as safe to say the answers obvious but you really are a cock as if spurs, chelsea, united or anyone else would completely sell out a meaningless (relatively speaking) midweek fixture four days before a cup final back under your stone gobshite
I realize you haven't been to too many FA Cup Finals recently but we have and we've sold out every game prior to them and yes, some where meaningless. What's next on you excuse list?
Your a Chelsea fan criticising empty seats??? Are you ****ing serious in the years before you decided to support a winning team I was at Stamford Bridge on many occasions when the place was like a ghost town lad of course you can fill it with glory hunting plastic flag waving toff twats these days as you have had success in recent years but once you drop back to mid table normality the plastics will go back to whoever is more successful you know it, I know it.
Chelsea couldn't even fill up their half of Wembley for the semi final. Expect to be out numbered and out sung on Saturday. Mark my words.
**** what the chavs are saying. You all know that so many empty seats, regardless of how important the match is or isnt doesnt bode well for the club. Midweek or not 5000 seats is loads, it would be alot at OT and thats alot bigger. Consider your fans wont see the club many more times at home this season aswell...
Dickhead! You're not very good at understanding what figures mean are you? SOLD OUT is nowhere near the attendance figure.
Who actually gives a ****? Most of those 5000 were probably season ticket holders who lived no where near Anfield and had work in the morning so couldn't be bothered to make such an effort for a nothing game. I didn't even watch the game, I was happy enough to check the scores and video updates on my phone. I didn't expect a result last nigh.
In that context you are right, its no big deal. It is a big deal when you consider who you are (Liverpool) and that you have just 1 home game remaining this season, 1 more chance for your fans to see their heroes in action. Is the Chelsea game midweek for you guys or is it a weekend game? If midweek I wonder if you get a full house? Thus making any notion of this being poorly attended due to lazy fans, a bit daft.
Your argument would be good if this bit were true. But it is for this reason why people have not made an effort. Just a coupke of quotes from last night...
