Moving Kenny upstairs during the summer? FSG brought him in to steady the ship which he has done well. Brought us 1 cup and another cup final which in his first full season back is not a massive failure! I know we'll get the WUM's on here stating figures of what he has 'spent' on underachieving players but we have to ignore those. As the club have confirmed they will recruit a new DOF to replace Commoli so maybe Kenny could take up that role and allow the owners to bring in a new manager to carry the project on.

Main priority next season should be at least a top 4 finish and I strongly beleive with a prolific goal scorer/poacher and a decent RW, we could be a good side worthy of a strong run. Not sure what anyone else thinks of this?

why would we want Kenny as Dof? He has none of the required skills, he only speaks English, he's not a shrewed shmoozer and negotiator either. He's a boot-room manager and I cannot see him ever being a suit

Seemed to do well in the Suarez negotiations so why wouldn't he be any good? Why does he have to speak a foreign language (Which he clearly does as demonstrated in the Suarez negotiations!)

That as DC that negotiated that from start to finish, he's the one that had to play the mind-games, bargaining etc essentially a businessman, which is very different to being a manager

Mate, according to an interview with Suarez shortky after he signed, he stated it was Dalglish that sealed the deal and said he was even impressed by Dalglish conducting some of the talks in Spanish, so I reckon it could be a possibility!

I was intrigued by the interview and was pretty impressed that Dalglish took the time to use Suarez' mother tongue as was Suarez which is what swung it in Liverpool's favour

Dalglish has been a DoF before.

After winning the league with Blackburn he moved to being their DoF, and he was also DoF at Celtic.

Saying that, I'd probably keep him as manager for another season, as even though our results have been poor, our football has been good, and the players repect him a lot. I do not blame Dalglish solely for our league form.

I think we will do better next season, we might not get top 4 but I think we wont have the same rotten luck we have had all season. Don't think we will sell anyone of major importance and a couple of decent players in. lucas back and Kenny should see out the remainder of his contract.

I hope you're right, I think the guy is Liverpool through and through, just sometimes get frustrated with the poor results. Week after week it seems and it can't all be down to bad luck - But, it's spot on that he is not solely to blame, as the lads need to take a long hard look at themselves over the summer and think what it means to play football, not just for Liverpool but football full stop. there are kids up and down the country, and around the world that dream of the day they'll wear there favourite shirts for real and our lads just don't seem bothered some weeks!
