That's a good team for tonight (sorry to be pleased that Diarra is not starting).

If they have an eye on Wembley, then maybe we might get a point?

    Fulham ahead!!

Might it be the night to put to bed the BBC line "Fulham not won on Merseyside in the top flight in 41 matches"???

Mrs Captain - hold the biscuits.

You really don't like Diarra, do you Frogster?

Sorry Bidley, I'm no Frogster. I hope Diarra comes good, but he's not up to the pace of the PL and goes AWOL.

Oh dear, sorry GS! It's been a long day...

I think Diarra's done well considering he's not had a club since last May.

Very nice win and a double over Liverpool. Another away win and a very good one at that. How many games do we have to win before people stop thinking we are useless away from home? I like to think we have done quite well away from home this season, certainly against the bigger teams.

    Evening lads, Liverpool fan here.

Congrats on your win tonight! <applause>

You fully deserved the victory tonight. My team were pretty pathetic and I think we made too many changes. I can understand why the changes were made but too many for me.

Anyway, good luck for the rest of the season!

    Thanks Chris, much appreciated.

Hard not to look at that Liverpool team and think "those players don't care enough for the shirt". On the plus side Chris, Raheem Sterling looks a good prospect. Stop spending millions on average players and... actually no, how about you ship more youngsters like Kacaniklic out to us and keep your expensive mercenaries! ;)

And not just Liverpool but our fourth double of the season. That's a record.

Superb, organised display - the back four were magnificent. As was Captain Murphy. Our passing, especially in the first half, was quick and accurate and constantly flat footed L'pool.

If there was a criticism it was not finishing them off, because to be honest they were pretty poor. Another credit though was the way our lads took knocks (particularly Huges but got up and got on with things, no fuss. Also praise to both youngsters; Kaca and Frei.

    Here's a clip of the goal -

Thank you lads for making a wee bit of history. And hats off to the believing fans who travelled to Anfield to witness it.

    Congratulations ,to FFC the unpredictable.
I think there is another failure on Liverpools books we could take Sterling Raheem
It appears we could have scored more.

Get in. Well done Fulham. Pretty much dominated the whole match.
49 points, can we get another 6 points?

They didn't seem too bothered tonight. Which as a fan, is appaling to be honest.

They had the chance tonight to stake a claim for a place in the 11 on Saturday and nearly all of them have played their way right out of the 11 for Saturday. Very annoying indeed.

And yes, Raheem did seem to lift us a bit. Liverpool fans have very high hopes for him and hopefully he'll start to get more and more chances.

And how is Kacaniklic? I'm gonna be honest and say I wasn't too aware of him when he was at Liverpool (Scored a great goal in the youth cup final against Arsenal if I remember correctly)

Seemed to do well at Watford when yourselves sent him on loan and seems to be getting more and more involved in the first team at Fulham now.

What about Dalla Valle? I believe he went as part of the Koncheksy deal as well.

Great result for the team, Anfield is a difficult place to get 3 points from even if they did put out a weakened team. Looks as though Kaca was very impressive, anyone know where Frei played when he came on ? Cheers for the comments Chris, and if you read this what do think of what Kenny has done for you lot. I read somewhere that Liverpool have only won 5 of there last 18 prem games, not great league form that has been glossed over with a couple of good cup runs. Good luck at the weekend.

Straight swop for Kaca on the left, froggy. He had a terrific game, not just taking them on up front but did a tremendous amount of tracking back and covering defensively. He has improved that side of his game so much recently and, certainly tonight, seemed stronger.

His main highlight was a superb through pass to leave Demps clear on goal (unusually said Demps failed to score although credit to the keeper who read his shot well). His best though, was a jink inside and a cracking shot which hit the outside of the post.

Footnote: that's now 23 times we've hit the woodwork.

IMO, Kaca looks exciting. He bossed things in the Championship with Watford, and has made a few impressive cameos with us.

Dalla Valle looks less exciting, IMO. He's had two (correct me if I'm wrong, guys) loan spells at Bournemouth and Dundee, where he's not done much at all. Apparently he's lightweight.

And a recent one at Exeter City, Bidley. He wasn't much good there either.
