Well done hornette, I think I did about the same distance in half the time this morning pushing a trolley round the supermarket.:(

Still it was worthwhile as it helps to keep the bottle numbers up.;)

Aaah wow, good luck with your training! Have you got much sponsorship money yet? I bet you would get a decent sponsorship if you posted the link up here.

Leonardo - I am a "qualified engineer" so will be writing reports for building materials and products. Incidentally, where I work at the moment, I have just received the delivery from the printers for my first solo written guide on truck roll-over! I would love to be a features writer for a magazine or newspaper etc. That is the aim.

:) thanks BBW! i haven't started collecting any yet but the page is ready to post, was going to stick it on FB but yep, i can put it here too, that'd be great! :)

Good luck with your writing aspirations BBW!

Leonardo and Aberdeen put it pretty well. So it is now a question of "in Malky and GT we trust"... the Lord having jumped ship.

I`m impressed Hornette Best of luck with it:)
BBW and there was I at work thinking that one of my friends on this forum was going to become a best seller author;)

I'm back from the walk and ready for a long, hot shower! 16.5 miles in 4 hours and 6 mins...happy with that :). Less than 10 miles to go til I get the big one done...yay!

Good pace Hornette - On our last Moonwalk, Mrs W_Y and I finished it in 6 hours 5 minutes - our target was 6 hours, so just missed it. Soon be time for the 20 mile one - great feeling when it's done. Don't forget to hassle The Nest for donations - it is a very good cause.

Ah the weekend starts here. <ale> if the barman is in.

I forgot to say that the council meeting was a farce, 2.5 hours late and a decision to "have a site visit" which delays planning approval for at least 8 weeks. The whole system is geared against the little people :(

And so to the weekend of being a taxi driver for the little 'uns. Well medium size these days as my oldest has just started driving lessons. Any tips for parents gratefully received Hornette!

Love the idea of short stories on the Board. Great one - the Nest Book Club (to go with the Scandinavian review earlier in the thread). Might be a bit tough on BBW to do it in public though.

Norway - Just off. Need to fill up with liquid gold, just something for dinner and then go to the gym - little Miss W_Y is nagging me to go to the gym and take her...after that, It will be a few Ciders, White Wines and Sailor Jerrys...

Maybe as w-y suggests you should knock up an article in both nests and both forums , explain what your doing and why and let people pledge money on the articles!!
