Ignoring if it's the right thing to do or if buyers are avilable, is it a realistic option for the Allams to step down/sell up? If they did, what would you expect the asking price to be? Also, is Adam Person still involved on the SMC (other than as head of FC)?
They'd be lucky to get back half their investment and I don't think AP has any involvement in the SMC, other than being a tenant.
It all depends on the finances of the club, ive heard contrasting details about the finance, mainly been the Allams have paid off all the debt the other been that the Allams are security for the debt either way ive got a couple of Euro Millions tickets so when i win (im always convinced I'll win) I can buy the club and get AP & NB back where they should be
Either way we wouldn't be troubled. If they were the security on it and the creditors decided we couldn't pay they'd be going after the Allams personally. From next season (when do I start calling it this season) we're supposed to be running as a self sufficient club though, so as I can't see anything that's happened that changes that I don't think we're relying on outside finance to fund us now.
and that is probably why the allams are successful businessmen and we are not. we have to trust them and their business judgement. we have nowt else anyway. i wonder what APs company's deal was?
