SURELY Pardew will not go again with the 3-5-2 that has failed against Everton and failed miserably at Stoke. If Ireland is fit I'd like to see us go back to 4-4-1-1 with Ireland behind Ameobi

    Harper

    Simpson - Coloccini - Williamson - Enrique/Ferguson

    Barton - Guthrie - Nolan - Jonas

    ------------Ireland-----------

    ---------------Ameobi--------

Failing that, have Ranger finally get a start in a regular 4-4-2

    For me...

    -----------------------Harper-------------------
    Simpson-------Tayls/Willo-----Colo----------Jose
    Jonas---------Barton--------Ireland-----Ferguson
    -----------------------Nolan--------------------
    ----------------------Ranger-------------------

I'd love to see this line up but doubt it'll happen.

Heard this morning Pardew said Wolves might still be too early for Ireland, and expect Ferguson and Guthrie to start. What's the deal with Guti, I heard he was still tough and go too?

Struggling to think of a solid line up to be honest what with there being few definites.

    Alright new tash?

the team will pick itself and a lot of fans predictions will leave them dissapointed so I'm just going to hope for the best
any team we put out should be capable of beating Wolves but they need to address the situation correctly and fight for everything

Jonas is confirmed to be fit (according to fantasy football scout, which is usually quite accurate) Enrique is 50/50 whether he'll be fit in time

Ferguson's done more in 2-3 games than Perch has all season.

It seems the line-up will be:

    Harper

    Simpson Williamson Coloccini Enrique
    Barton Guthrie Nolan Gutierrez
    Ameobi Lovenkrands

    Seems Enrique will start again.

    I can see this.
Can't see Pardew changing much really
although I would have Ferguson in and Barton in the centre with DannyBoy on the bench.

That line up really worries me in the centre of midfield.

Barton usually cuts in, suppose he could put Guthrie on the right but it hasn't worked in the past.

I think Barton will have to cut in to bring the ball forward but that exposes Simpson.

Guthrie has to be kept as far away from a wing as possible because he just can't stay out there and we end up playing very narrow.

Why did we let Routledge go on loan?

Pardew said it was because he thought a signing of a winger was a done deal(Larsson) so he let him go. Typical Newcastle, why not wait until he had signed? Hopefully they will learn.

Yeah I agree, fingers crossed it will be Ferguson.
Listening to Pardews interview the other day he seemed to stress the experience and strength Perch has over Ferguson and even mentioned that Perch can fill in at left back worryingly...

I'd like this, given that Best is out. (Ferguson for Enrique if out.)

    Harper
    Simpson Williamson Colo Enrique
    Barton Ireland Nolan Guthrie Jonas
    Ranger

I know Ranger wont play, so that line up with Ameobi would be acceptable I suppose if Shola is now seen as first choice with Best out. All that service (4 midfielders who can create goals in different ways) and he would have to score. He's not great but he does score goals given good service.

Like that. Like it a lot. Ranger offers much more than the average and inconsistent Ameobi and out-of-form-out-of-his-depth Loverman. I'll like Ireland pushed further up, behind Ranger if possible, but we all know Pardew will probably start with Strolla and Noverman :(
