If any of the players we currently have regardless of the managerial situation leave, I will lose all respect for them, that applies to Koren, Chester and Fryatt, theres no loyalty in football anymore, I suspect their will be a few packing their bags

So If Koren moves for one last payday at the end of his career, or if Fryatt moves back to the Midlands to be nearer his family or if Chester moves to a Premier League club to better himself you will lose respect for them?

    Get real

To be honest I wouldn't blame them. They've given us a good service and they've been really loyal to us so far. If a bigger club comes in then you can't complain if they want to leave, and in this situation if a more stable club comes in that aren't messing around with their hierarchy, you can't complain that they want to leave then either.

It's when people move for money and money alone that annoys me. Like Nolan dropping form Newcastle's first team to the Championship to pick up £70,000/week for 5 years.

No, if they move to somewhere like Leicester for money, Fryatt has just purchased a new home so I believe after his newborn child, Chester deserves a crack at the Prem but I hope it will be with us, that's why we need to keep our players for a promotion push

I don't understand if the Algerian flag is a joke towards Egypt or what

Algeria and Egypt are always scrapping and it always worms its way into football. I think Amir Zaki was linked with Portsmouth a few years ago before signing for us but said he would never play for them because they had an Algerian, Nadi Belhadj. They also had a massive qualifying game a couple of years ago for the WC I think and there was loads of fighting.

This is getting ridiculous now, if all of these transfers were to happen (which im pretty sure they won't) next seasons starting line up is beginning to sound like this...

    Mclean Cullen
    Dudgeon Cairney Mckenna Emerton
Dawson Cooper Bradley Mcshane or East
    Jakupovic

That Zaki thing wasn't about Belhadj being Algerian, it was about Ben-Haim being jewish, though he denied he ever said it.

The other clubs? Or the press writing easy stories? In an average summer the press will write stories saying we're signing about 50 players (in the PL seasons we got to over 100 in (each of the first 3 transfer windows), I don't see why we should assume the outgoing stories are any more reliable.

    A very naive outlook.

I'm not comparing you to my son but I was talking to him this afternoon about our current situation and the fact his favourite player( Koren) is probably leaving. I explained he might be getting offered a longer contract on more money
    His reply made me chuckle.

    "Well that's football Dad"

    He's nine.

It's cut throat, ruthless and without loyalty(well nearly), the sooner you realise that the easier it gets.
