Well are the FA going to take any notice of Liverpools NINE changes for tonights fixture v Fulham. Will messres Holloway and McCarthy be taking note also as I seem to remember they were both fined for doing the same. Oh and by the way David Moyes has picked a virtual full strength team, shows the difference in class between the Merseyside managers, one is class and the other an illiterate overhyped ex Liverpool player. I wont hold my breath for the FA's letter dropping on King Kenny's doormat.
Will give them an advantage for the Cup Final, as Chelsea will be playing their first 11 tomorrow. Should get done if McCarthy and Holloway got done, though personally I think the FA were wrong to do it.
The FA only come down on those clubs they care **** all for such as anyone except Man Utd, Man City (now), Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool. All the rest get ****ed over whilst their darlings get let off. It stinks to high heaven and I'd love to hear MM's and Holloways comments later. lol
Pretty sure Everton played a weekened side against Liverpool because they had us in the FA Cup a few days later, not sure how many they left out though. so this class between them both is a bit daft in this instance. Its a stupid rule anyway you have a squad, you should be able to use them how you see fit, if thats 11 one week and another 11 the next, then so be it.
Steve. But isnt that the whole point of this thread when Wolves and Blackpool both used their squad players last season they were called up to explain their actions to the FA and both duly fined, its one rule for the chosen few and stuff the rest of the Premiership, I know its a crap rule but why dont they treat everyone the same, cause if they did we wouldn't be having this conversation now.
And by the way Liverpool are a goal down and playing Sh1te, I'm just pleased the opposition isnt in a relegation fight although Fulham are going to put themselves out of reach of ourselves if they win as I cant see us winning our remaining two fixtures, which will cost us money in final league placements, so there is a point in making managers play their strongest 11.
Mentioned this when the scousers played each other and one of our lot said that the rules had been changed slightly, not sure if it is true or not but sounds about right.
Firstly, I don't see the need for that derogatory criticism of Dalgleish! A manager picks a 25 man squad, he should be able to pick who he wants from that squad. It is a disgrace that the FA ever fined anyone for it.
hmm nope there is a point that we should hav played better under Bruce, and the last month or so, then we wouldnt give a **** who fulham played.
