kompany's comments here are a contrast to Mancini's claims that United have a much easier run in. You guys can let off a little steam now.

Vincent Kompany, arguably the best Centre Half on the planet.

 

Mancini is just playing mind games surely people know that. Hes well aware his comments seem bizarre considering us and swansea are two of the few that have beaten them.

 

Kompany doesn't feel the need for mind games... Man, I want to sign this lad when I get Fifa.

Kompany played a blinder yesterday. Would love the likes of him at SAFC.

 

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini says Manchester United remain favourites for the title, despite his side's 1-0 victory over their rivals.
City are now top of the Premier League on goal difference with two games to play.

"It's a great victory but we have two difficult games left and United have two easy games," said Mancini.

However, United boss Sir Alex Ferguson insists City are "in the driving seat" to clinch the title.

Vincent Kompany scored the winner just before half-time to send City top.

Their goal difference is now eight better than United's and if they win their last two games at Newcastle United and at home to QPR on the final day of the season they will almost certainly be champions.

Mancini said: "We now have the chance for the title in our hands. Manchester United are still favourites. Swansea and Sunderland [United's opponents] have nothing to play for. I am very happy that we are top but it doesn't change anything. Football is crazy.

I agree with mancini to be honest... Our players are clearly already on their holidays, whereas the mags are fighting for champion's league qualification. And, to be fair, there's no denying their starting 11 just plain has more quality than ours this season (league table doesn't lie). It's similar with QPR and swansea - swansea nothing to play for, QPR fighting for their lives. I never really got why everyone got so upset with mancini's comments tbh...
