My reference to concerts was to suggest that your argument (in a depressed economy) that any other entertainment was in competition to peoples spending on football.

Pearsons saved us twice, And without his backing we would probably not be in existance never mind a championship club. Ok He's made some bad appointments, Dowie, Molby, Parkinson. But he brought us arguably our 2 most succesful managers Taylor and Brown. We lost him for two and a bit seasons and look what happened, We nearly went belly up. Again he came back and stabilized us.
Fair play there is no room for sentiment in football, But too those of you who are slating him on here, Just have a look through the memory banks, We've achieved alot with him here, at a time when it was doubtful wether Hull City AFC would exist much longer/
