Yes but Rooney has been in front of the FA for the same thing does he not learn from his mistakes.The media have a lot of camera's around the pitch and in the stands and with Rooney having temper issues the camera is always going to follow him and catch him at it No the FA should step in and at least have a word with the lad as he does not learn
You're right, of course- though your retaliatory mention of Bellers was unnecessary. Loads of players do it. Tbh, if I was a ref I wouldn't stand for some jumped up little git screaming red-faced abuse at me. I'd book 'em every time. If all refs did this, and were backed up by the authorities, we might have a few thin games at first, but they'd soon cut it out. I'm not talking about shouting vague abuse at the ether out of frustration, but direct inyerface insults at the ref.
I only mentioned Bellamy as I always laugh at how dismissive he is towards refs - I probably notice it more just because it;s a Liverpool player doing it I don't know how a ref hasn't stuck one on a player by now. Week in week out you see players shouting such vile abuse at refs which isn't accepted in any other walk of live apart from professional football ( even if you do it on Sunday league games you often get sent off ).
