As a neutral who likes to see good football.... I was sat watching the game tonight and wondered how good Man City would be if they had Rooney lol He is WASTED at Man Utd and should have left when he had the chance. I think the same about Gerrard when he had the chance to goto Chelsea.
Exactly! Which is why I dont think Man utd should be THAT disheartened by this season. They have played out of their skin to be where they are today and its a great achievement to even be this close to them.
Wow United are so honoured to be given such praise by the NUFC fan. I'm sure if the season finishes with City as champions, SAF will sleep easy in his bed knowing this.
Hope they will, Newcastle is no easy place to go to get a win so hopefully they can do us a favour. Even a draw will do me fine but we need to take advantage if that were to happen.
This is shocking. How on earth can you label United as a Disgrace? You had a blip in the Champions League, but are back in it next season. You’ve had a lot of significant injuries which has hit your squad which has, as a result, hampered your cup runs. On Paper United’s squad is not the strongest in the league, but the performances put in , on the whole, have been far greater than the sum of the parts. I have seen every premiership team play in the past two seasons; none move the ball round as quickly as United do. The system you have in place is exceptional, and you constantly bring in Players who fit into it well, who would not be considered world class (Valencia, Young, Hernandez) before you brought them but would walk into most teams now. You’ve not lost the league yet, you are second to a team who has pumped £359,060,000 into the squad since 2008, and are nearly 20 points clear of third. It will be years before United could be classed as a disgrace, what is a disgrace is the attitude of SOME (not all) of your fans who jump on their team when they achieve what many others would be proud of. Your season isn’t over, get behind your team and look forward to another decade at the top at least. I would like to point out that I don’t like United and hope City win the league, but that isn’t the point.
