I said that yesterday; that maybe Barmby has not only been told that he can't have any more money, but also that he must sell the best players and reduce wages.

Unfortunately we'll sell the best players but still have the players on high wages because no one will want them.

How are Leicester going to get around the FFP? They have loads of average players on Premiership wages?

FFP doesnt really come into effect for the next 2 seasons. Clubs wont be punished until the 2015/16 seasons

Until then they are just guidelines so if we get promoted before the then it wont effect us one bit. Plus there are ways of cheating the system

And we are clearing a few big money players out (Beckford and Mills mainly)

and who relistically is going to pay a fee for beckford and mills and on the wages there on ???? no premier league club will want them and no championship team would pay those wages . and as daft as the allams appear they would not sell chester for 1.5 million

If the money recieved was 2.5m how much would it cost to replace those two? if this wasn't one of the reasons for yesterday's events its a good opportunity for the Allams to gain some much needed PR with a hands off and f**k off to Leicester.

Obviously only time is going to tell on this one, the next week is going to be very interesting that's for sure. Who knows what kind of measures the Allams are implementing i.e. budget (wages/transfers) etc. which could then have an effect on which players we may be able to retain e.g. due to lack of ambition, loss of manager etc.

I think the loss of two managers in a season may be too much for some young players and who would blame them for wanting out if bids are in for them?

Even on those wages Leeds won't touch him unless it's a subsidised loan

Leicester will take a hit on Beckford & Mills' wages, they will probably be loaned out if NP wants rid of them

Leeds haven't paid a fee for a player for about ten years, they'll definitely only want a loan with 50-70% wage contribution(depending on what he's actually on and I don't believe PF's numbers).
