It's the Daily Mail so regard it as ****e mate. It's lazy journalism and nothing more, Steve Bruce is on record as saying his priorities are to sign up all the loan players so this isn't anything new.

I got all excited when seen the title of the article and the first thought was I hope it's Sakho, shame :(

as for what is actually said I am sure it has been said Muntari will cost around the 7m mark and I cud see Mensah costing less than 5m

Yeah I reckon if we could get Mensah for around £3mil he'd be a bargain. He's proved he can play a few games in a row for both club and country. Muntari has 8 games to impress. He looked good the other night but hasn't quite got into his stride here. I'm sure he'll turn out some quality performances sooner rather than later.

My position remains the same at this point - No to Mensah, Yes to Muntari.

Yes to both but depends on what they want for Mensah really, he's a cracking player when fit and maybe if he belonged to us then we could push through the op that he needs.

To be fair to Mensah and his injuries he has been just unlucky this season nothing to do with what kept him out last season. Firstly he dislocated his shoulder against Stoke then done some damage to his ankle against Bolton.
