What a bizarre list of players. Just to get it straight, these are the ones you want to KEEP?

Think we need to take our time and get this right, It must be a balance between keeping players that can play in the Prem the following year and bringing in 5-6 young promising players to plan for the future. If we buy the right young players then we can keep them for several years. Plan for the long-term.
GK: Think we need to buy a good young keeper for the future and have Kenny as deputy. IMO Murphy and Cerny should be let go.
FBs: The modern FB is pacey and mobile. Traore fits the bill. Young can be kept as a squad player. Therefore we need at least one new young pacey FB. Taiwo will go.
CBs: Keep Hill, Onouha and Ferdy. Buy one promosing new young CB for the future, Release Sh***u, Gabby and Connolly.
DM; Keep Derry as a squad player with a coaching role. Faurlin and Barton to be kept if possible. Diakite would be great but unlikely.
CM: Buz as a squad player. IMO we need 2 new young ACM. Energy, pace and able to pass. Getting these right is essential.
LM; Adel will prob go. Smith can play here also and should be kept. We need a new young LM.
RM. We need a new young RM. Keep mackie. Would actually like to see Mackie playing more up front. Try and find buyer for SWP. Try Try Try Try
CF. Keep Cisse, Zamora and DJ. Do whats necessary to release Bootsy, Pat and Hulse.

This might sound a little crazy (i am nuts after all) but i think this is what is required regardless of if we go down or not.

I will explain my reasons why I wouldn't keep most and would keep the ones, may be similar to NUTS' above, but a few tweeks.

GKs: Get rid of all of them. Kenny isn't cut for a whole season in the Prem and wouldn't stay to be a deputy. We need 2 new keepers, 1 a younger one and 1 with experience.

FBs: Taiwo back to Milan. Luke Young is too old, ship him out. Traore I'd keep because he'd be very similar to Kyle Walker in that position, just on the left.

CBs: I'd keep Onuoha and Ferdinand, purely because Ferdinand is a experienced defender who is still only 27, and Onuoha is a player who will hopefully flourish with more games. I'd get rid of everybody else, perhaps keep Connolly when he's back from loan as back up, but get rid of the old lot in ****tu, Gabby and Hill. I think he's too old to build the squad around now.

Wingers: keep Mackie as a squad player, with the view to him being a backup striker as well. Accepting Adel with leave. Smith should be released, Ephraim has no part in the squad anymore. SWP is SWP and I just don't rate him at all. Might be decent in the Championship mind..

CMs: Keep Barton because he'll be like Kevin Nolan when Newcastle went down and up. Faurlin must stay. Diakite must be signed at all costs. Buzsaky needs to go, Derry needs to go, for not being good enough and Derry again is too old if we're rebuilding.

CF: I'd keep Cisse and Zamora and purchase a young striker who will learn from the pair of them. Everybody else get rid of, perhaps keep Campbell if he's going to prove his fitness. Everybody else isn't good enough or is too old.

People may be saying it doesn't matter if they're too old, but what I am trying to get at is that if we do go down, we need to REBUILD the squad, which in my opinion is getting rid of the older players who won't be there if we go back up. That is why I say no Hill and Derry, because they won't be in the squad if we go back up, so ship them out now.

Will love to debate our squad for next season in due course but it's premature in my view to consider who we might keep in the CHAMPIONSHIP squad.

Swansea? whatdaf*kk are we going to do with them, we got no sheep. Barcelona is the better option, we could put the City at the spanking new Unigate breast milking plant, the Club HQ at Harlington, the training ground at LR, and we can rent Wembley for Barnsley at home.

Yes it is. Stop lying to yourself. It's part of the healing process and you'll feel better for it. We can't afford Liverpool so you're going for Swansea. We understand.....

In fairness to Hill i think he has given us everything he has as regards ability effort etc etc. You just can't fault the man. I think the biggest problem he has is his lack of pace. He can win headers, put in geat blocks etc etc, but he turns like the titanic, thats why he can't play FB IMO. If we go down i would still keep him but not if we stay up. We need an injection of young players. IMHO we do not have enough real pace throughout our best 11.
