If it is true that is hopefully a good step. However, I cannot imagine Mr Hayes writing off all the amounts owed to him so I am sure we will still be in his pocket!

This sounds hopeful, but I'm sure Hayes has something up his sleeve that will make things difficult. Looking forward to hearing about the plans at the press conference next week.

Is anyone on here a trust member? I'm thinking of joining and would be interested to hear any views, pros or cons, about becoming a member.

My concern in all this is the stadium as Q7 on the link asks about ground ownership. The last sentence states, "They cannot sell it unless they either have a permanent interest in or the right to use a stadium of an equivalent standard in the High Wycombe area." Could this lead us to the scenario where Hayes sells the ground to Hayes Shafters Limited (or any other name you can think of!) for payment of his loan notes and HSL grants the club the right to rent the stadium? He has all the voting power as the founder shares would only kick in if the plan was to relocate more than 5 miles from Wycombe (Q4 on the link) and renting the same stadium back would surely be granting the right to use a stadium of equivalent standard in the High Wycombe area.

This is perhaps a "doom and gloom" scenario, as I haven't personally sat down and looked at the constitution so it may not be that easy for Hayes to do this. However it is something I have some concerns with and would grant Mr Hayes the ownership of the ground.

it might be a doom and gloom scenario finchy but never the less a very valid point .can we trust sharkey hayes to do anything right for our club ?.he did say a few years back that if his 5 year plan to get us to the championship failed he would give the club back to the fans ,lets hope he keeps to his word, but i very much doubt it.

The ground ownership appears to be the key to this. If Hayes retains it, charges rent and takes a cut of the revenue then that will ruin us. I really hope he does the honorable thing and walk away.

I think that until the Press Conference there isn't much to go on. I'm afraid I'm a bit cynical of FAQs. They tend to be the result of:
    1. Which questions do we want to/can we answer publicly?
    2. Word the questions in such a way that we can provide answers we want/are allowed to give
    3. Publish FAQs

I'd be more interested in questions that have been omitted.

What I would like to see is:

These are the most likely scenarios and what they would mean to the future of the club, financially and in league status terms.

These are the only other options and what they would mean also.

What backing, if any, will WDC be providing for a WWFC?

What is happening regarding the long term plans of WDC (pre Hayes) for a new stadium somewhere on the east side of HW?

Hopefully, the position will be clearer after this week's conference. If not at least I hope all possible sceanrios can be discussed and published.
