They were'nt local and they were from dorset 250 miles from Manchester and they say they don't have glory hunters
How about all the money generated from Asia, America etc etc.. Would you rather not have it? And simply have no fans outside of Manchester? Anyway Matth I thought you were from Wales?
Firstly, Matth isn't wuming because he's not on the City board. Secondly, his point is that City fans often take the piss out of United fans because of our large non-local fanbase. Yet they obviously have out-of-town fans too.
No it isn't, his point is that the claim is ALL City fans are from Manchester when this is patently not the case. It doesn't matter where he is from to say this.
Can you please refer to the post where I said that? And no it's not glory hunting yet - because they have no glory to hunt.
yeah they're all making matt's point for him it seems, says a lot about some of the above, especially the giant swollen arsehole I thought Matt's point was that not all city fans are from manchester. I doubt anyone has said they are all from manchester, anyone sane anyway. I thought the 2nd point was They have glory hunters even though they say they don't. It's failrly simple, if not then clarification is needed instead of everyone intrepreting it theiir own way. City will have gained some more due to better football.. are those extra fans glory hunters Matt? I can safely say before that pre prem United had far less supporters than they do now, winning has gotten them a lot of fans, Liverpool had I am sure less supporters until they were top for a spell, do they fall into the same category as City's new fans? I'd say since they started winning so much United have probably gained moer supporters than any other English club, and more than doubled their support since the prem started. That's a lot of so called glory hunters by your logic. I think glory hunter has become quite worn out at this stage, who cares why another supports another club. Some latch on to winning teams, some love good football and sonme just see a team and thats enough or players which in my opinion is the biggest draw as much as league position. In the end glory hunters or whatever you wanna call it, they spend money on kit? ppv? tickets and merchandise? They are supporters. There are many that don't spend sh!t and don't go to games and just watch frree streams, they are not supporters they are fans, there is a difference. In the end United have wads coming in from asia or whever, it doesn't matter, if they are supporting the club finalcially by buying united products then its all good as far as a business is concerned and football is certainly that. City's obvious aim is to increase fan base and increase revenue, you can only do that with investment certainly not without and I think it should be already paying off if City are gaining Glory Hunters" because if they are, job is getting done
I probably jumped to the wrong conclusion. My bad. The one line OP's don't help though, a little bit of a thread opener wouldn't go a miss.
I think Utd would like to have any fans in Manchester to be honest - This post reeks of Pot calling the kettle black, most Utd fans are from down south ain't they?!
Hope that made sense to you because, as an Englishman I do not understand what you are trying to say. mayve you should have one less glass of shandy tomorrow night?
Excuse me, but I'm a Stoke fan and I live just 2.9 miles from the ground.. my point is.. I sit behind a lifelong Stoke fan who's lived in Bristol since birth. 20 years a Stokie?? All clubs have fans who live miles away.. I know a guy and his wife live just 50 yds from me, they have supported Utd for 37 years.
Is there any chance of you jumping under a bus soon you hateful piece of ****ing ****? Go and find one, put us out of our misery. ****.
