So what's the difference between an "Islamic Account" and a non-Islamic Account?

A bank account that is based on religion is a whole new degree of wrongness.

    Why?

Some people live by strict codes so the banking industry are simply catering for them. :)

Some religions beliefs mean that gaining interest on your money in your bank account, is wrong. (I know, crazy eh? Used to get letters about it all the time...)

So eventually they put in a practice that allows the interest to not be paid automatically to the account. Crazy thing is, it actually cost more to do this coding amendment than it does to pay the interest for the next 10 years!

Rates of interest probably. If I felt, lets say a little uncomfortable, I'd offer a special rate

Like they give a monkeys about their religious bullshit. These same muslims are the very same people who spend much of their time in a local William Hills or a casino gambling away.

Of course gambling is allowed under Islamic law.....oh wait, no it ****ing isnt, these ****s do it anyway.

I think it's more likely that they won't give interest on savings.

That only works if the party providing the funds is a patron of Sharia Law.

Banks are patrons of Shagye Law, where they do their best to shag ye of yer money at every ****ing opportunity.

Just think of the round of applause the fella who proposed it in the boardroom got.

They sucker people onto an interest free account an look like they are being the good guys at the same time
