The Mail Online are all over it like a rash saying Mick McCarthy and Billy Davies are favourites to get the job FFS a statement hasn't even been made yet!
I've absolutely no sympathy whatsoever for Pearson. We all stood by whilst he treat club legends like Brown and Ashbee like ****, it's only fair that it's finally happened to him. Two years too late.
The rumour that surprises me the most at the moment is the one that Adam Pearson is leaving too! Clearly the Allams will do things 'their way' or the 'highway'. Sadly, it means we might have lost our Director of Football and our Manager. Two men who cared about the club and were not 'yes men'. You may find that next season we have nothing but 'yes men' running the club and with no new faces in the squad - I can't see us finishing above mid table . We'll go backwards. I hope that common sense prevails on all sides and egos can be overcome. Perhaps some sort of middle ground can be reached for the sake of the football club? When the 'Tantrum Kings' (Allams) have gone, when Adam Pearson has gone, when Nick Barmby has gone, the fans will still be here. We are the only constant in the life of a football club.
Can't believe the Allams are running this club with an iron fist, they need to go but then it will be a loss for both parties
Agreed, like Barmby he has done nothing wrong and they both show the passion needed at a football club
Why? I've made no secret of the fact that I don't want him at the club, and to be honest I'll be pretty damn chuffed if he finally makes it all the way out of the door this time. Unless of course you don't want me speaking my mind, which would be fairly ironic.
The funny thing is we used to have them in February and now we can't even get them out during the season. I seem to remember one year they even went on sale early February but we had the forms in January, I returned my form straight away and the buggers took the money out in late January (before payday), made for a really tight last week of the month.
You say what you want. There's nothing more welcome than a bit of light-hearted comedy during a crisis.
The club will be fine, I think we're overreacting to losing an unproven manager and an incompetent "Director of Football Operations" who was doing **** all and wanted to leave at the end of his contract anyway. Once again, the biggest fear for Hull City fans is the unknown.
I meant that in the midst of all this Allam/Barmby crisis, you're still choosing to target Pearson. I wasn't even necessarily saying you were wrong - I'm just saying pick your moments.
Sky say its because of comments about finances after west ham game and that Pearson has also walked due to his support of Barmby. Nothing new I know
