you lot werent even there for the football, you just pay 50 odd quid to sing songs about john terry (which didnt work considering he played well and scored) and lampards wife. why does that make you better fans than us?

Is that why when i left at 6-0 i was passing loads of Chelsea fans on the way out?
    or
Was it because you ground has no atmosphere with 42K?
Then again maybe it's because of all those thousands of tourist fans you have that they don't know the chants?

I would hate to support a club like Chelsea complete with all those tourists.
Sad but any old school Chelsea fan would agree with me.

none of that has anything to do with what i said and basically repeated yourself, it just backs up a theory that qpr have an unhealthy hatred for us. the times ive been to the bridge the atmosphere has been fine, it all depends on where youre sat.

united, arsenal and liverpool all have tourists too, its what comes with being a successful club. why dont you say all this on their board aswell?

I never said we were and I never said that does. I'd defend the right of anyone paying the prices we all do to do/sing anything in a football stadium as long as it's legal. Lampard clearly found it humourous and Terry is too thick-skinned and used to it by now to care. I doubt anyone expected either player to be so horrified by some people singing mean songs that they'd play badly, they're just trying to have a laugh while their team crumbles miserably rather than bursting into tears, getting on the team's back or anything else.

I will say though, that i think the ground is quite good (not the fans). close to the pitch and if Rangers had a stadium like that the atmosphere would be great. It's big but also compact. Maybe you should get one of theose 'souless bowls'.

hopefully not! i think if rangers were challenging for the top like we were you'd too have plastics fans. its part and parcel with success now, like i said.

Totally agree Watford. I saw our fans at 5-0 down signing and dancing. All of the plastic i sat with didn't even know who the Chelsea players were.
Tell you what if you ever want to learn a foreign language, forget Rosetta Stone, just pop along to Chelsea and you will be fluent in a season?

Sounds like you have only been to the Bridge recently Ellers.

Contradicts what you were saying about remembering Chelsea fans leaving Loftus in droves 86, 87, 88... were you there?

Or overheard the tall tales from the Grove boys.

Tickets still available for Stoke and City:

I felt far worse schlepping to Southend to see us pumped 5-0 on a friday night, 4-0 at Leicester, 4-0 at home to Bolton this season etc. Piss poor as we were yesterday at least we got thumped by a decent side.

    Different playing 11 v 11 rather than 12 v 9.

Let's hope some of the old Captain Jack crew fill your end v City

I don't think it's healthy for a man of your age to be constantly seeking arguments. It's amazing with the season you've had you're still bitter that six months ago Foy basically got one marginal decision wrong, to give Bosingwa a red rather than a yellow, and then dared to not give penalties to the mighty Lampard and Luiz for throwing themselves over at set-pieces in the blind hope the ref would be keen to even it up after giving us a pretty standard one. I'm off for a bit but it's been a pleasure throughout.

    Blah blah blah
I think you will find that i was sitting in the Chelsea end and looking at the ground from another prospective.

In the past i have made many Chelsea posters look like a 'Jonny come Roman' if you want to talk about the old days or games go ahead but you better know your stuff because i do. <ok>

    Also:

How does that contradict what i said? How is remembering Chelsea fans leaving Loftus in droves 86, 87, 88 got anything to do with my Bridge comments?
However if you want to talk about old days i am up for that <ok>

I stayed til the end, as did the large majority in the lower tier, I would say we outsung you but obviously it sounds like that from where I was, the truth is, you don't necessarily have bad fans, it's just the bridge is very quiet nowadays, obviously mainly because of an influx of new supporters/tourists, it comes with success and is seen at all the major clubs like arsenal, man utd etc...im sure if we reached the same level of success and got a new big stadium, it would be the same <ok>

Although to be fair at 88 minutes there was probably a larger percentage of rangers fans still there than chelsea, mainly the west and east stands of course <laugh>
