Wasn't it the budget meeting at the Club today?

Sounds more like tempers have flared at that to cause this rather than something said weeks ago?

And the club and SMC is some of that £117M, assuming they're doing it in a holding company we're £51M of it alone because we'll be in at our actual value with the rest of the money as "Goodwill" which is written off over time.

Exactly, so i don't see how people can say they should have spent more. The problem is not about the club spending money, we can't spend money and shouldn't, the FPP and the long term implications of spending.

THe problem is losing Adam Pearson, if Nick wants money and isn't going to get it i understand him leaving, but without AP we have no-one with football knowledge. The other issue is who on earth is the media man for the Allams he is awful.

No that was meant to be tomorrow, which is why I find it strange this has all kicked off today. You would have thought they would have waited tomorrow, what has happened to make them act like this today?

I did say ages ago that the Allams were only interested in the land not the club and that Barmby would not be in charge next season.

The next things to happen is that 50 million pound gift will turn into a loan that the Allams want back. I can see this ending in administration one way or another either if no buyers come in or if the Allams pursue the 50 million.

Just goes to show you should never trust the pitch of a business man as there is always an ulterior motive (usually get money as quick as possible). Makes you wonder if Nige saw through the Allams and decided to jump ship before it sank.

None of its true, theres been nothing on sky sports news! Apparently someones been to Wembley and there's a football match to the west

The Allams are businessmen and not local, passionate people like Barmby, they just thought it was a good investment at the time and now are too impatient in the way of money making, they wanted the 51mil back from promotion and they havn't got it

Ifrumours about selling club are correct, I hope the Allam's sell the stadium lease as well otherwise we could have problems in future

Not really. The rent/terms are fixed for about 90 years so there's not an awful lot of trouble they could cause. If they wanted to terminate the contract they'd have to compensate us to whatever cost it would take to return us to the position we're now in (ie the cost of a stadium or a lease of a comparable existing stadium in the catchmment area accounting for loss if it involves being out of town)
