Thanks Barry, yeah she was at the hospital when she called and was going back to see Nanny afterwards and make sure she was ok. It was my Step-dads father, but i was closer in the last few months than my maternal g'father. I will look into it as there is 10 days before hand in and i have 1.5 to do. I dont want to take mitigation, but i dont want the grades to suffer. Thank you H. It is a big shame, it is just a little comfort that he was well traveled and had lived life to the full whilst he could.
Sorry for your loss Dan, thoughts are with you mate. H - Sorry, did not here you. It was very noisy down at pitch level and I had had quite a few glasses of by then . Did you like our MOM decision? A couple of people from the club were making a big fuss about making AM MOM and were hinting it might be his last game, but we wanted to pick someone who puts there all into every game and never normally gets a sniff at MOM...so Dicko got the vote!
you're forgiven, i figured you didn't hear me...though my whistle is loud, it often gets swallowed up at the Vic coz of the crowd noise <feminine forever> lol Ah, well interestingly i commented on the MOTM choice..and was most impressed as he does very rarely get the shout. I was just a little surprised that Loach didn't get it, since he'd had such a great game and made some stunning saves...
I was very surprised that Loach did not get the motm. Not to say that Dickinson did not deserve it, he did make a couple of important clearances and has had a few good matches this season, but i think he was dodgy the 2/3 games before Boro and considering Loach only found out on the saturday that he was playing i think he did wonderfully. Also i think it would have done his confidence the world of good.
Sorry to hear you news Dan.....I never knew my grandfather as he died long before I was born. Even if it is expected it can still seem a bit of a shock. Just managed to strim the verges down the lane, with all this rain it had become too long to try the mower, but have had to beat a hasty retreat as we now have a thunder storm crashing away overhead. Combined with the tropical rain the lane has now turned into a river.
BHD It is always a shock when anyone close dies and I offer my best wishes to you and your family. And to you Hon for your losses last week.
I see the scummers are at it again http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-17896806 they need sending somewhere nice where their views will be appreciated, like Iran.
Hi Dan, I'm sorry to hear that the person you love has become the person you loved. My Grandad was the first close member of our family to die, when I was about 30yrs of age. I was heartbroken, I can recall, but I know it do not really hit me until the day of his Funeral when it became real. So hang on in there pal.
I do not know what to say Dan. Another sad loss reported here. I hope you have many happy memories to remember him with.
Because the rest of England is nothing like L*t*n. Very sorry to hear that Dan. My thoughts are with you and your family.
Sorry to hear your news Dan - as others have said age is not important in these things it is the passing of a loved one.
I read a line on the Southampton board about Portsmouth and would like a question answered. Portsmouth will start selling players and it is sensible they ask a sell on clause. After a sale where would money from a sell on clause go, a special bank account for creditors, the football league, the administrator or would the club who bought the player just not pay any money?
