'Arry's court case has not helped him:the FA would like to distant itself from him..but they cannot spell it out.<doh>

Why would anyone in their right mind want to take on the england job? Constantly getting slaughtered by the press and in charge of a bunch of prima donnas who think they are better than they are.Lets face it England are sh*te and have been non achieving for decades. They might put in the odd good performance but will never win the world cup again as long as they have a hole in their arse.
I'll just support LFC thank you very much.

Brilliant, progressive forward thinking appointment from the FA - a 70 yr old, defensive manager who does not have the gravitas to control our bunch of ego fuelled prima donnas.

Just when I thought I couldn't be less interested in international football - fantastic.

If he can't control them then hopefully he at least has the balls to drop the ones who step out of the line. Getting rid of the Gerrards and Terrys and replacing them with players to whom the team comes first could be the best thing to happen to England in years. Not holding my breath on that one though.

Roy's speech on the eve of the tournament will go something like this:

"Well, Ukraine are a good good side, joint hosts as well so if we manage a draw there it will be a fantastic result And Sweden, Sweden are very blonde side, we might squeak a 1-0 win but I'm thinking a good solid draw in that one.

France? France are much much better side than us so as long as we don't concede to many I'd consider it a victory.

England fans are going to have to be realistic here; a fourth or even third placement in this tough group should be seen as an achievement."

"I didn't bring any of the young players because it wouldn't be fair; they'd just sit around the hotel, playing their Walkmans or whatever you call them. They'll have their chances in the future when they're about 35; the perfect international age for a player"

I am very happy for Roy Hodgson to be England manager. He has done very well at international level in the past.

    Thought I do partly think.

Roy Hodgson at Liverpool - A yes man.

Roy Hodgson for England - A yes man.

Paisley, the well known Premier League era manager. Our times would be this generation, as in recent, not 30 ****ing years ago.

So as I correctly said, Roy Hodgson is the most successful english manager of our times.
Oh and only the greats get made Sirs ;)

Maybe he's just getting a few years experience with England before stepping in at United to take Fergie's spot...

If we were in the situation you guys were in last season then yeh, be a great choice. Knows how to stabilise a club ( inter milan ) after all.

You guys were well to harsh on him, the players refused to play for him ( disgraceful, why you dont condemn those actions I dont know, when AVB had the same treatment you guys were quite vocal about it ) you guys gave him no support and you expected roy to sort everything out right away.

Did none of you realise how ****ed your club is. Do any of you realise that Dalglis has only a slightly better win % to Hodgson, massively inflated due to cup success aswell.

In the league there is very little difference, yet you guys hate him. 2 managers doing a very tough job and doing fairly similar in the role.

He had the hardest job in the league last season, Chelsea have more repsect for managers than Liverpool did with Roy.

We hate him because he was useless. Useless as a tactician and useless as a leader. He did not have the capacity required to meet the task. I believe that he will prove as big a failure for England.

Voy's record looks good on paper but look closer and you will find that he is really a one-trick pony.

As for our club being ****ed. Most certainly it WAS but is far from being so now.

Respect is earnt Voy never did that!
