Well i would have preferred hearing about an extension to RVPs contract first, but it's still some good news nevertheless. Quality and in his prime signing, he should be good to go pretty much straight away. Now lets get a few more signings and we are good to go!

I like this comment: Something for us to bear in mind. Clubs will be more ameanable to decent offers if they've time to use the money we're offering to get replacements in. It's no use offering the asking price at the last minute as that leaves both clubs in the sh*tter!
It depends. Walcott is the quickest of the three and having him on the right with two deadly finishers alongside him? Trust me, that's a combo that would be feared by just about everyone. Especially when you add the likes of Chamberlain, Miyaichi and Gervinho (he will improve his finishing, he's a fantastic dribbler) on the bench then you see a team that finally has strength in depth.
So happy that this has finally been confirmed . He'll be a great player for us, very versatile with a rocket of a shot on him. As long as RVP stays, we'll have excellent options next season in attack.

I think the most important is cover for RVP. At last we can rest RVP than play him every second of every game. We'll also have Miyaichi and Campbell joining our squad, so we'll have plenty of options on the wings.
