Me too. I don't get upset these days, used to it, just enjoy the ride and the lingering "what if?".

Harry Redknapp, England manager? Was there some sort of collective psychosis at work, that had people convinced it was actually going to happen? The FA would have been more likely to appoint Clive bloody Woodward.

Mind you, it would have been entertaining reading coverage of Harry asking the men in blazers "can you get me Teves? £250 large should sort the passport, and a present for Mrs Redknapp's chihuahua "

Happy enough. They need someone who can just see us through this tournament. Hopefully he'll have his squad dictated to him and we'll carry on down the road Capello had us on. We need to accept we can't get near winning this one, discard the old guard, blood the youngsters and move forward.

I actually miss Scotland being there. Finishing third in the group section on goal difference was our speciality.

And what are you going to call Ibrox next year?

    Whyte Towers? Ellis Apartments? Tesco?

I'm glad they've gone with Hodgson and not that criminal Redknapp. Hodgson is a top class coach, all we need to do is get behind him and the team, and he won't let us down. The reason he had a blip at Liverpool was because the fans were on his back from day 1, and they created an enviroment for him, which made it almost impossible for him to coach the team well:biggrin:

Correct. Redknapp, like Venables, is an absolute crook. And crookery should not be rewarded.

I think Hodgson is a good choice - going for the expensive superstar manager has hardly been a raging success in the past. Now all they need to do it get rid of their spoiled big headed millionaire footballers and bring in a few who will play for the jersey.
