Did you realise that the worst we can now finish is 14th. So come on, honestly, who thought at the beginning of the season we would finish that high? There were a few 'polls' done, so perhaps someone could find it and add a link to this article.
Yes there are two games to go, we could still finish higher - but I would settle for this be it 1 Aug 2011 right now!!!!!
Great season, bring in a few new faces, same again next season please Brendan.
Note. If we lose QPR, that'll be less 'red cards' and more chance of getting into Europe.

    Big finish lads, eh?

I hope we lose QPR simply because they are a bunch of cocks. Suarez and Terry haven't helped matters with the fair play league thing either.

I think anything between 12th & 14th. I did predict at the start of the season we would finish 14th.

I would have bitten your hand off for it :) but finishing the top half would be real nice as well. Points mean prizes think someone said that we get an extra £800k for each spot

I stated before a ball had been kicked that we were good for 14th position, so finishing above that is job well done from me!................ <ok>

I think we've blown top half now. The Wolves game was the one to possibly achieve that. Nicking a point or two in the last couple of games might have clinched it who knows? Having said that I said from day one we'd be mid-table just inside bottom half and I'd be over the moon with that as things stand. 12th is my best guess.

I went for 10th before the season started - and still a reasonable chance if we can get 3 points against 'pile of poo'

or the fact that we gave a two goal lead away at their place , got a draw at home v chelsea ,didn't bury our chances v Liverpool & newcastle ,Sorry it's over a season not one game but point taken (pun)

Apparently I went for just above the relegation spots, I was evidently being pessimistic!

I"ll be happy if we just beat Liverpool now. I'm so tired of listening to their crap about where they should be. They haven't been who they think they are for donkeys years. I'm still bitter about the 2-2 draw in the 81/82 season after they came from 2 nil down with 2 shonky penalties.
14th is excellent really. I've been amazed at how well we've competed and stood shoulder to shoulder with giants.
After our great start to the season at home, my biggest disappointment has been our defence. Without Caulker it will be very difficult as I feel Ash is not the defender I thought he was.
Overall though I am so proud of the team. We've really looked the part.
