Well done shrewsbury town in achieving the dream for everyone involved in the club from staff/players to the die hard fans. I been offline for a while now but i been impressed by the way that the club has been run and the fantastic football that has been played and specially at home at fort knox...... I hope that we can keep hold of all the players from this year as you can see that other teams will be trying to bid for players like collins, grandison and richards. Well, its good to be back and i hope to be back down there soon after i have finished my stint in the city of stockholm diamond x
Sorry lenny but no hoax, it is really me diamondgeezer from a few years back. Back then, i saw a team that was going nowhere fast and being run by what i would call.... Clowns!!!! I put my hand up and say that i wasn't too impressed in giving the job to turner at first as he knocking on retirement age but that went very quickly when i saw the players that he brought in and the players he already had and what he did to turn them into better players. Back then, i didnt like what i saw and i told the whole world on 606 on what i thought but now, its all good stfc forever
Diamond, if it is really you then welcome on board. Just possibly a coincidence that we were only talking about you and other from 606 last week. Stockholm is a lovely city, never forget paying about £5 for a pint of Spitfire bitter out there in 2002 New year.
.... Atcham Jack, Its around the £6.75 a pint now mate but Im a London Pride drinker myself lol Looking forward in getting back home in the summer to some good old fashion British Home Cooking and a a pint down at me old local
and what shrew you are back where you belong, in the bosom-er steady editor- of your family shrews. where have you been? you are back justin time to change that ruddy awful badge. roland! he's back!!
Kasule..... are you talking about The Tudor Arms!!!!! Yes mate, Bloody fantastic at weekends.... makes you feel like home
Probably. I am going back 40 years now. Took the car over via Tor Ferries from Felixstowe ( of Triangle TV series fame) and toured around. I do remember that the cost of food was hugely expensive then. Returned in the 80's but only for one day en route from Helsinki to Copenhagen.
Saw Ainsworth leaving quite soon after the game, although there were a few others too (Collins, Wildig, Goldson, Bradshaw) who may have been out later. It's a pity we haven't seen more of Ainsworth recently but it's good that he was there supporting the team. Would still like to be shocked by him being offered & signing another contract (his performance at Derby was one of the best individual Town performances of the season) but it doesn't seem likely. Great to hear from WhatShrew again - and the reformed DiamondGeezer!
Cheers Jenny - well worth watching. Nice to see John Still taking time to congratulate our players as they came off. True football man and a gent.
Hi all glad to be back. Be interesting to see the retained list. Big advantage now is that for once we do not have to wait till the end of play offs to start planning for next season
missed you as well particularly your dire pessimistic results predictions. still kds made up for it! welcome back. i do hope gt gives our second string of players a brief chance to shine on saturday. ah well time to stoke the gas up.
