Please let's win the last three. Two away and one at home and against Bolton too.

A mate of mine is annoyed - he desperately wants QPR to go down due to his loathing of Mark Hughes, yet for consecutive weekends we've bailed them out.

Wasn't there some talk a couple of weeks ago about Villa being as bad, if not worse, than we are? It's as if MO'N took his Completely Dependent On Set Pieces coaches with him...

I certainly thought Defoe should have been given longer and also Livermore. But at the end of the day I ain't complaining too much as at this stage of the season, the result is all that matters and we got that with a decent performance as well.

  5. What was inexplicable was that Lennon was clearly injured and we had a ready replacement in Gio bench-warming!!
We have another vital game on Weds and there must be a good chance that Azza may well not be available.
He may continue to make the wrong decision at key moments but we play better with him in the team.....

I don't think Villa were worse, I think Spurs gave a master class in football that day. We were superb. Around that time we played the best football I've ever seen from a Spurs team, including the double team. (In absolute not relative terms). Then it all fell away.

I expected us to win today, we won today, so pleased King didn't play. We now have a chance for 4th if Harry can keep picking sensible teams.

According to arry the only game we never played well in, was Norwich at home, in all the other games in this drop down the table we have been playing well and just not getting the luck.

Well obviously the forward line didn't play well because they didn't score enough to win the matches and neither did the rest of the side because we lost to donkeys. Spurs in many of those matches were lacklustre and if Harry was satisfied with that then he should pee off. Our slide has been stopped and we've moved up 2 places so after our recent performances 2-0 has to be more than satisfactory. I'd like 1-2.0-2 and any winning result against a very good Fulham side.

Surely you mean if Harry can remember how he used to pick sensible teams?

We were pretty dire against Sunderland and QPR, too.

Good win, should've been way more but it was good to see some of the play that made us so dangerous return, even if Blackburn were totally pathetic all game.

    Walker's freekick <ok>

    Sandro <ok>

    4th <ok>

    Happy YV :)

If the Chelsea/QPR game is investigated for match-fixing we'd be set...

  12. And hardly impressive against Stevenage..... Yes, not a PL game but the performance - and more important, the team selection/game plan, in the first match was quite indicative of what was to come.

A morale boosting win, and more importantly much better body language from players and management on the pitch and in interview. We've needed some spark like Walkers goal to fire them up, it'll be a good dressing room after the game over that, especially with VdV caught on camera laughing when Kyle asked if he could take it! <laugh>

I see a few moans about Lennon staying on too long, why question the physio who went to him first?, some niggles respond by 'running them off', but it didn't work this time...damn, note to medical staff, mustn't forget crystal ball!...much better to rotate eh! <doh>

Am I the only one praying we don't see King for the last 3 games? Much happier with Kaboom in the middle....

No you're not. I'm well happy that King wasn't playing. Yes he is a legend, no he shouldn't be in the team.

Ronald McDonald and Mrs Doubtfire could have played at the back for us today. :)
