This is also bad for us as it means Spurs will know doubt be stronger with Arry staying.

    True.

As always I'll give him a chance for the benefit of the team.

England could do alot worse. Yes he wasnt very good for you guys but this is a different situation. Alot was going on at Liverpool and you guys expected alot as you should. It didnt work out for either party in the end.

England, low expectations for once compared to recent years, Roy might just do enough to get us out the group. Can we really expect anymore from any other manager?

    I suppose.

There are not too many other England managers with enough experience.

Nigel Adkins could be one for the future.

I think most of the country rate Roy. Not that we think hes a superstar manager but hes a decent manager as his record shows for the most part.

Took the Swiss to WC last 16 and qualified for euro 96. Hes got a better set of players here so who knows.

Roy is decent, but not generally at the high end.

Yes we can expect more from an England manager than Voy has to offer. There will be no attempt to play any expansive football. The forwards will spend a lot of time chasing long balls or crowding out misfield. Perhaps even more importantly I will bet that there will be few youngsters given a chance.

Could be a decent appointment despise his record with us.

The only problem is I can see the England players turning against him (John Terry)

    Huh?

How come when he was sacked as Liverpool manager other football fans and football journalists were saying 'How disgraceful! A manager of his ability should have been given more time! Liverpool should be ashamed!"

But when it comes to the point where he's on the verge of being appointed national team manager it's a very different tune indeed. "Oh Christ NO! ****ing hell! No! **** NO!".

If Utd fans think so highly of him they should put pressure on the Glazers to make him Fergies successor paving the way for 'Arry to get the England job.
