So what other positions is Nick looking at ?

Does the 4 or 5 signings include new goalkeepers ?

I think we have one keeper sorted and a couple of options for the second(I do expect us to have two permanent keepers next season).

I think we'll also sign a centre back, a right back(or a player who can play anywhere across the back) an attacking midfielder, a striker and a couple of wingers. There may well be more, it depends how well next weeks meeting goes and how successful we are in shipping out the players we don't want.

If we go into the start of the season with Cooper and Chester as our starting centrebacks we're ****ed. Every team we come up against will make sure they have a big man up front, because if our centre backs are both sub 6' and weigh less than 12 stone it'll be a bloody nightmare for us until Hobbs comes back, and it's not going to help the new keeper if his centrehalves are constantly being exposed for their lack of height/strength. And let's not be saying Carlton Cole is a PL striker and that's the reason, Iwelumo is a good Championship striker and nothing more, but he was destroying Chester in the Watford home game as well, to single out a particularly predictable one.

Plus, not signing someone would be assuming that Hobbs came back alright. It's a hell of a gamble to assume that he's going to come back from that injury without any complications.
