The 5-2 win at Falling down Park was another good one. It's too hard to choose a favourite win against the Few there have been so many. Bit easier for them as they haven't got to double figures yet.

Southampton against Nottingham Forest replay at the Dell Late 60's early 70's F A cup. Saints 3.0 down despite playing very well, with 10 minutes to go. Saints scored 3 times in the last 10 minutes as well as scrapping the bar and post. The replay was moved to White hart lane where most Saints fans didn't get into the game until after half time because of the traffic chaos. We still won though despite that being the heyday of the Forest
Southampton Vs Fulham.... Fulham went 2 ahead very early and we came back to win 4-2. Beattie Hat trick. 6-3 and 3-1 United.

I'm not sure why the norwich game stands out for me, it could be because I had a spare ticket to the game and I took a friend who, ironically, was a norwich fan. Yes it was...... There was also another game that was a scorcher I have just remembered......... Southampton 9...Wolverhampton wanderers 3. Or the cup Match at Manchester city again when we where in the div 3 south Saints won 3.1 I think it was. Another game I remember down at the Dell about 33000 odd of us taking it in turns to breath against the mighty Man U. Saints 2.0 up at half time....but went down 3.2 at full time. Despite us playing out of our skins. There is so many games I have seen over the years.....it is not until you are with your friends chatting that you are reminded of some of the outstanding games we have seen.
Someone mentioned the 3.1 win against Newcastle with our 3 goals coming right at the end. One Toon fan said on radio, 'I went into a carwash winning 1.0, came out and we had lost 3.1.'
