Maybe. Torres has had a couple of false dawns. Lets see if it lasts.

He only scores against rubbish opposition. Liverpool are a phenominal side who Torres won't stand a chance against.

Has he scored an important goal yet for Chelsea. Not the 2nd or 3rd goal but a winning goal,. and equaliser something like that.

V Barcelona his goal didnt change anything, Chelsea were already ahead.

Carling cup > PL, CL, Fa Cup
Henderson > Xavi Downing > Iniesta Carroll > Messi

Scoring goals is one thing, scoring the goal is another. Carrolls done far better than Torres this season, scored match winning goals.

Of course Torres will score the opener in both the CL and FA cup finals.

Na i'd say Torres has done better, he hasn't got the important goals but he has won them games ( v Sunderland, v Wigan, v Wolves and once again i think he set up both goals in one of their cl games in the group-stage ) and they were on their way to going through v Barca but there were still 3mins on the clock when he scored and Barca could have probably got about another 5 attacks out of that time and who knows they might have even scored late like in 09 so he did kill the game effectively.
Carroll on the other hand, he has scored a important goal or two but he has been absoulete **** in terms of taking his chances and his overall work-rate / contribution

Torres didn't want to be overshadowed by Suarez this weekend... <laugh>

I will put some of my winnings on Torres scoring the first goal in the FA final.. <laugh>

I dunno, I was bricking it at 2-1, if Barca scored they would've been through and after 09 and the soft pen against Fabregas I had a hottible feeling!
