Chelsea are a better team than us. Thats the simple truth. Can understand Chelsea winning and even winning comfortably. What i can't understand is the performance of our team. We are supposed to be fighting for our lives, yet you can planly see several players strolling about like a walk in the park. I can't believe what i am seeing. I can't believe the lack of passion, energy, drive effort etc etc. It's incredible. Please somebody wake me and tell me i am dreaming. WOW.
Spot on NUTS, as I said on another thread, Buz bottled out of a challenge just outside the Chelsea box shortly after their first goal, that sums up our team in a nutshell, NO BOTTLE! Jamie with a few runs into nothing is all we've shown in the most shameful 47 minutes this season...
4-5-1 not doing it, got to switch to 4-4-2 and bombard them Cisse shooting from outside the box says it all
Hell that dog must be so tired, you spend the whole weekend walking it....I bet the dod is praying for the close season
Only thing to make me laugh in the last 45 minutes, cheers! We are pathetically lightweight but Chelsea are looking very hungry. Nightmare.
You can talk after your sh*t performance yesterday, at least we're playing Champions League finalists rather than a team with the coffin-lid nailed down...
sad but true, chelsea look better than us in EVERY department and are dishing out a lesson in how good we really are. Dont blame anyone alone...we just aint good enough..got slated for saying it a while back, but the false wins have hidden the underlying factors..... And i'm so glad tarbs aint playing tonight as he'd be getting loads of undeserved stick....Damage limitation i think..!
We have nothing on the bench to change the game. A manager can only do so much. Barton is our captain and yet i do not see him having a go at the other players on the pitch. It's really like they are standing back admiring these "big names". Paddy is just not a Prem keeper. He is just not big enough. Buz is out of his depth. The most disappointing thing is to see Terry scoring. I played CB for many years and i can tell you JT would not have won that header against me. I would rather the sky fall in that let that turd score against me. No passion, thats whats causing the unbearable pain in my heart at the moment.
We're not down yet but it's not in our own hands anymore by a long stretch. We need a hell of a lot of help and based on the latest showings from the teams we need that help from it doesn't bode well.
Our only hope is we beat Stoke and Bolton and Blackburn don't reach 37 points as our goal difference is being well and truly shafted and Man City will be adding to the minuses...
