Is it just me, but I'm beginning to warm to him..I think it maybe has something to do with the way he's downplayed his team's chances(Which has ironically worked for City as they're playing with no pressure and now have a good chance of winning the league....god forbid). He doesn't seem to be taking himself so serious an seems(on screen) to be a lot more relaxed.I dunno, maybe it's just me?
It is YOU!!! Dont be fooled. All he thinks he is doing is to take the pressure off his own team (lessens the expectations) and heap the pressure on United by saying we can only lose it and that we are still clear favourites. Mind games. Do not be bloody fooled...
Typical slimy Sh** he is... saying that United is this and that. Favourites, great team, experienced in winning blah blah. All true of course but why would he be saying all this in public? You can bet your bottom dollar he is saying exactly the opposite in the dressing room, in private to his players and give them a boost.
Actually i've lost a lot of respect for him with this "united will win" bullshit. Along with his backing down to Tevez and now seemingly Balotelli. Those three incidents aside i think he hasn't come across too badly, but they are a major drain in my opinion of him.
I actually took it as the bull that it sounded like. We know he still thinks they're in with a chance and it's just a ploy to take pressure off City. As for the Tevez issue, it seems he got desperate an unfortunately it looks to be paying off.
In the short term maybe, but do the players now know they can push him around. Look at Balotelli as well with rumors he will play tomorrow. I remember Joe Harts reaction to his latest moment of stupidity. It cant be earning him respect to be playing those two. Ultimately if City win the title now i will feel its because we've thrown it away.
Hes a confused little boy. Dont like him at all and look forward to the day Fergie chews him up and spits him out.
I don't mind him myself. As a manager i never rated what he did in Italy as it was off the back of the betting scandal which effectively left him with no competition but he seems to have a grip at City. I'd respect him more if he'd stuck to his guns on Tevez but I think it was taken out of his hands. I reckon he should keep his job, whatever happens. He could do with cutting out the card waving but beyond that he's alight.
