That is what I mean! I said he admitted that the club did the right thing to ban him. I then added that takes a big guy to admit that. There is no other perspective to that except for that once scenario. I also said he had dug his own grave on that thread...You keep ignoring the obvious Vetch and try to put words into tohers mouths.

KJ - JH deserved to be banned. I have no doubt. The Aber banning seemed a bit sudden to me. My whole point is if you are going to ban somebody on an rival board for having a rant without any warnings it can just diminish your board. I think we have always been very relaxed about some of the Swans posts on our board. And yes there has been some bad stuff. Anyway. As I said, I will leave your board. Good luck for your next and next season :)

I like rubber balls but if ever there was a reason for closing a thread and banning somebody then yesterdays thread was it, it was totally provoking and was only going to get worse, talking about violence is daft at the best of times, i think everyone knows those who like to talk about it very rarely experience it but it was just a thread that was going to get alot worse, Swansea and cardiff would just draw battle lines and insults would just get worse.

Well done to Cardiff on reaching the play-offs by the way <ok>

Have you actually read this thread? He's been threatening Swansea posters.

Still feel the same? "Gutted"? Come on. <doh>

I have the ability of thought process to establish what I think of him prior to this. Please direct me to his posts and enlighten me.

I am against banning unless it's a deliberate troll trying to ruin a board.

We have all been guilty of over-zealous posts in the past, but I hate the idea of censorship and thought police. Sorry if you disagree, and please don't ever question my loyalty to Swansea again.... in a court of law it would be considered a move to strike (something Our/Brendan's Boys could do with a lot more next season me thinks!)

Next season we have to be better than at least 3 other teams and I feel that if Cardiff come up to join us then they would come into that category. Let them come!

Siam, its a temporary ban. The way he was condoning violence has no place here. You may be happy with it on your board, but then your club has a bad past for violence.

He's an idiot who openly endorses the soul crew ****ers, if the Cardiff fans are happy with that all them should be banned permanently!

Championship clubs who start next season with debt in excess of 7million will receive a transfer embargo.

Dont know what cardiffs debt is (it was 40 million not so long back) but
if they dont make wembley would they be worrying about such an embargo?

Thanks for you good wishes superswan. <ok>

I can understand that many see the Bluebirds as annual bottlers, and to some degree they have a point, at least historically. However, given the wholesale changes of players and management this season, it's hardly fair to label the new squad. I think also that people forget how well we actually do to get to the extra stages of a season.....especially this term. Everyone is aware of our financial plight, but every season that we get close, adds interest and for us to have average gates of over 21k, can only help for the future.

I'm not sure if you Swans appreciate what a unique position you're in. When Martinez took over as boss, he didn't just manage the team, he set out an ethos for the club that would continue regardless of whether he was there or not. To all intents and purposes, he started a dynasty which, as Sousa will testify to, you either buy into or get out. I can't think of another club that has this legacy from a previous manager. Martinez is an exceptional manager and any up coming club would be lucky to have him. Like most of the other clubs, we Bluebirds were not lucky enough to get such a bright man at the helm, and because of numerous issues, we had to go about things differently.

We now have a man at the helm who appears to be creating a different ethos and a team spirit at last. I'm still not sure about him as a tactician, or how passionate he is about our club.....but I mean not sure....time will tell.

So, for a club that had to be dragged out of the doldrums by someone with ulterior motives (Sam) and subsequently left with an unsure future and a pile of debt, I reckon we do really well just to challenge every year. Perhaps MM will turn out to be our own Messiah.

Jack Ash, I read your comment about our violent past and clearly nobody can deny our reputation. It is not a reputation that the vast majority want and the club has made equally undeniable and far reaching, effective efforts to improve our profile and rid ourselves of the residue of troublemakers. I also think, that when critisising about a club's past, you should keep in mind that even the Swans were not squeaky clean in that area.

I don't want to dwell on that aspect of either of our clubs past, I doubt that many on here were involved with it anyway.

I'm sorry that some of you don't want us to progress.....you'll have your reasons and that's ok. From my point of view, I'd love to see us both in the top flight and have a renewal of those recent derbies....there were some great games.

Anyway, once again, congratulations on a fabulous season, well done to BR for keeping the Martinez legacy alive, and good luck for a continuing and prosperous stay in the Prem. I begrudge you nothing and hope we can make it over the coming seasons.

Can only speak for mysrlf and quite a few other loyal and passionate Bluebirds, but we wished you nothing but good luck. Yes we were envious, but we also knew you deserved it. <ok>

that comment valley only goes to show what sort of a person you are.....Its pathetic and childish. what difference will it make to us whether cardiff can join us in the premiership or not. it will be good for welsh football as a definite plus but wont make a blind difference to us whatsoever......

Incidently Valley, I think you'll get your wish as I think the Hammers are far too strong for us. I can't see them messing up over two legs. That said, I though Liverpool would run up a cricket score against us. Still, as I keep alluding to, maybe not progress in terms of league position, but real progress interms of ethos.
