You started a very fair thread yesterday complaining about the behaviour of away supporters and got attacked for it by a load of their fans who threw everything straight back at Norwich including booing one of their players - WTF? A few of us from other clubs know exactly how that feels so were joining in. It's not really necessarily a Liverpool thing - it's just symptomatic of a number of big clubs who have fans that think they can do what they like in any part of the ground they like and those of us who object to it are in some way out of order. Like you say though, it's your board and you don't want aggravation so I'm happy to leave it - enjoy the rest of your season.
Shelvey must have been watching him in training though as we still had our almost compulsory woodwork strike, 31 times in 35 games bizarre!
Great, now we have the ColWho contingent making matters worse! The Liverpool thread earlier in the season was the best of all, what the hell happened? Was it because we lost? Was it because we have no-one with the ability of Suarez, who put on an inspired display, or maybe because we can't afford £35 million on a player who's not even guaranteed a first-team place? I suggest we suck it up, and give credit where it's due. Really disappointed with some of the comments today.
That's a strange statistic! I think there are some magnets in the posts because Suarez got the ball very close to them with his first two goals!
Great opening thread Wonky The voice of reason! I'm afraid mate that you seem to be swimming against the tide on this one!
Cheers JWM! I appear to have opened up another place to abuse. Norwich fans have been very bad at keeping themselves under control causing Liverpool fans to then lose control themselves.
Proving your point that Liverpool fans will pull you up on going on about Hillsborough? Yeah, try mentioning Munich to Man Utd fans, or the Ibrox disaster to Rangers fans. You'd get exactly the same reaction.
I will go mental if I see another comment about these disaster or Suarez and I am half considering leaving this site. I enjoy posting on this board so please keep your post sensible!
Talking about football!!! We were very lacklustre yesterday and sloppy in possession. All their goals were avoidable and only game about from silly errors on our part. We were also very slow at getting up in support of Morro which is something that is uncharacteristic of us this season. There is no point in putting in crosses from 40m out as they are almost never going to end up with a chance. Really I felt Liverpool lacked confidence and were as poor as we were until the first goal when it seemed to come flooding back to them. If we had gone for it and put more pressure on them early on there was definitely something in the game for us. Anyway onwards and upwards, hopefully we will see a much better display next week! OTBC
OK. Read the following very carefully please. Wonky has started two very decent threads. One has now been closed, and this one is in danger of being closed. If we want good friendly banter with other fans on our board, the we must not post offensive things about their clubs or aggressively. There is a big difference between baiting and banter, and downright abuse, which I am very sad to say has been shown BY some of our own supporters. We used to have a reputation of being a good friendly family club. Well, at the moment, I can see us being painted as something else completely, and it is not nice! I have also had enough of the squit that has ruined various threads on here just lately, so let me say this once and for all. If a club had had a tragedy, then it will not be used as ammo against them, like has been shown on here already. If I see anything that I think could be interpreted as such, then I will pm Supermods and suggest that poster gets banned, whether he be a City fna or not. If you can't understand this then maybe this will help. Play nicely or I'll bang your bloody stupid heads together!!!
Right! The thread started by Wonky titled 'Morons' was started as a lighthearted rant. However, it was visited by some rather vulgar Liverpool fans mouthing off. Beefy reacted to this, but out of nowhere another Liverpool fan brought up Hillsborough which up to that point had not been mentioned. This upset me, as it appeared he was saying we were singing songs about Hillsborough yesterday. That's why I brought up the fact, Liverpool fans seem to forget about Heysel. Apologies to Wonky if he feels I was in the wrong, but I make no apology to Liverpool fans, who IMO, brought it on themselves on that thread.
I have almost had enough of the abuse. If I see ANY more and I may have to consider leaving this site which I would do with regret. Thanks Maestro I would hardly call my threads decent though! Thanks for the apology Carra, appreciate it If some sort of abuse is sent or anything the best thing to do is ignore it.
