Norwich for me . They may not be a " Big " Team in some peoples eyes , but they have an unasuming manager , a unified squad of Players with no Ego's , they play FOOTball & their fans are really decent
Man U - purely to see what lame excuse fergie comes out with if they don't win (remember the "it was because of the shirts" rubbish???)
Since I spent so many years living in Liverpool, it has to be the two Merseyside teams. The two players I'm looking forward to watching Dempsey and Moses (surely should be in the England set up and would be if he was with a higher profile club)
Spurs, hopefully with 'Arry still in charge. Hopefully the Northam songwriters club will come up with something inspired to welcome old twitchy back to SMS.
We're talking as if we've never been there before and that this is completely alien. To me it feels normal knowing we'll be playing premier league football, that aside I await Spurs as we always play quite well against them.
I still remember with relish the FA Cup third round game against them when Hoddle had just taken the kitchen sink with him to Spurs and we won 4-0 at theirs .
I've decied you are pretty emotionless Banksy after the last couple of weeks of posting. It's been 7 long, hard years! We are all excited!
This thread makes us seem very small time as if it's our first time in the premier league. We've played these teams many times and we're talking like we've never been there before. Nothing to do with emotions. I'll just look forward to a higher standard of football and being on motd again.
City for the stars, and arsenal for our youth Wouldn't mind spurs either for 'arry and bale (if he stays)
City are one of the few prem teams i have not caught live so i will look forward to their visit and also Reading so we can attain revenge for the way they mugged us the other day
I agree...our time in the PL is in within living memory This is why I couldn't understand people wanting a top club in cup competition...I always wanted the best chance to go through since I couldn't raise special excitement for teams we'd played many times before.
