After a full run out in the illustrious Berks and Bucks Andy Sandell is back and available for selection on Saturday. I've said on this forum before that he may not be the best left back we've ever seen but not having a left footer at all on the left side has made us look really imbalanced at times. He offers quite a lot going forward, from set pieces and also in the air. It really is a good time for us to be getting him back. Shame about JP picking up an injury, the guys is down on his luck at the moment.
Will be good to have Sandell back for the run-in. Foster has done a good job but, as Slasher says, Sandell offers an extra attacking option. We've scored very few goals from set pieces since he's been out. Pittman trained today so his injury may not be too bad. Him and Rendell have found their shooting boots lately and I think they would make a good pairing on Saturday to really have a go at Stockport.
great news about both jp and sandell.balance to our team is restored with a left footer actually being able to play on the left side ,we have missed sandell badly and its perfect timing to have him back for the run in.feel sorry for jp he seems to have had no luck with injuries this season.i am with wandermagic on this one both ruth and jp should start on saturday .
