Well stoke has no jobs and no culture. London has both of those. But I would feel safer walking any street in stoke than probably 40% of the streets in london <ok>

One of the places I lived was near dalston in hackney. Went there once at night to the cinema. Once was enough because there was a big confrontation at the cinema and someone got chucked out after a fight (mid film) and then the cinema got attacked whilst we were watching the film (like the outside - the windows). Then walked home. Got offered drugs about 3 times and basically got back home asap.

After that I went the other way towards angel islington if I went anywhere <ok> Even that wasnt great. Several stabbings whilst I was there that were on the news.

One guy I know got attacked by a gang of guys on a night out and mugged. They didnt just demand his stuff but smashed his head in. He now has a scar on his face for life. Not great.

Dont get me started on the night buses. Been on a ton of those and the chances of having some nutter on there that makes the whole trip uncomfortable seems like 90%

If we do go down, I probably will, depends if we actually win any games or not <ok>

And Arsenal fans are in no position to mock us after our easy 3 points against them quite recently <laugh>

  3. You've just described what would be a calm and serene lunch time in Stoke.

<laugh>. I love the idea of a support group for people coming to terms with being welsh. If it works, maybe we could trial a pilot scheme, for people coming to terms with being from stoke?

Plus in Stoke you can ask anyone for directions and get an answer in English!

I think any fan can mock QPR. Spending all that money and still being glued to the bottom four. Bolton have Spurs(0 away wins in 2012) and West Brom as their next two home games. Squeaky bum time.

Northern English though, it's a big difference. I can understand asians easier than northerners (apart from geordies, they're easy to understand).

  12. Not a bad idea... we could arrange for sponsors from normal places in the world to console and help people through the trauma of first realising <laugh>

A fan with some common sense. Even parts of Manchester I would not venture alone at night same here in Stoke..

I might come across another Jayram. <laugh>

Decent game yesterday, a pt each was fair enough. If Wenger say's it was I'm not going to argue with him.

Aye, that budget of 1.25m in the summer was quite something <laugh> even that was funded by the sale of Kaspars Gorkss <ok>

Skinman the best fans to come to the Brit season after season are the Chelsea fans. It is 100% good fun and banter. No bitterness, no rivalry just a good old fashioned sing song and a good laugh. The comebacks from both sets of fans are great to hear! Loads of respect for Chelsea and my favourite London club!
