If we're looking for others to do us a favour, well it's just not going to happen. Santa doesn't know where Loftus Road is; anything we get this season is going to be the hard way, by our own results. It's still in our hands, we have to match Wigan'sor Bolton's results and we're safe. No different in that respect from yesterday. We have shown over the past six or seven games that we are a match for anybody. Nobody has outplayed us, even at Old Trafford with 10 men. Can't see why we can't continue our form for the next three games and I honestly think we are equal to the task. MH won't be panicking, and neither will the team; why should we? Quietly confident about tomorrow, as SB said.
wigan and villa look safe Bolton have two home games they could win. But they are poor at home. They are unlikely to win both so say they take three points max. Away they are better and could get a point at Stoke. That's 38 points. Villa will get a point maybe two out of Spurs and Norwich. But have a better GD. Rangers best chance is to finish ahead of Bolton on GD. A point at SB is more likely than the Etihad. Tomorrow is crucial.
Wigan look safe. They are the form side in the bottom 6. Villa cannot score, Bent is out and they have missed Dunne. If Cisse is fit, I have faith he will score the goals to keep us up. SWP hasn't exactly been firing on all cyclinders for us - isn't it ironic that we have two of his former clubs in our last 3 games...what are the odds on him scoring?
It's naive to think that it is in our hands. Luck, injuries and even more appalling refereeing decisions may yet conspire to send us down. Bolton might .........., Wigan might............Even Blackburn and Villa might...........There's no point worrying about it. All we can do is play our best and secure our future as soon as possible. We do not have enough games left to go for draws and hope. We should be going for a 3-0 win. Eevn if we don't and it ends up 3-3 or even 5-3 to them we will feel better for it than crawling back to LR having lost 1-0 and barely troubled Cech at all.
I wouldn't trust Mark Hughes at all tomorrow. If I see us sitting in our own area tomorrow from the kick off and giving them the freedom of the pitch, I'm walking out of the pub. With those tactics we lose. Pure and simple. Derry getting sent off at OT made no difference. Hughes had parked the bus and surrendered the points before 5 minutes were played. He's got us in a dreadful position. If only they sacked COLIN a couple of weeks before and signed O'Neill. Look at the difference he made at Sunderland.

Nothing against Sparky but I can't help but agree. I honestly believe Sparky underestimated how many points would be needed for survival, I think he must have looked at Wigan's fixtures and thought they'd finish below you. The root problems are that Hughes hasn't gone for it in away games assuming winning all home games would be enough. Your best bet is to have a go and make it an open game like Arsenal did and Villa did. I don't think there is a better team in the Premier League at winning closed games than Chelsea, which is why Barcelona struggled hugely. You've got to have a go.
That fuc*ing imposter. He's trying to bring me down from the inside (and not by lacing my drink with laxatives). Brix, hunt this son of a bitch down. Hes destroying my street cred.
i can see tomorrow ending 1-1, cfc not won a london derby this season and bottom of the so called west london 3, not the same team atteam home, and they dont play well against the lower placed clubs, rangers might even nick this, the team are jelling and can a really go down that have beat cfc, lfc, afc, thfc, you seem to do better against the top 6, so that means beat cfc, draw with mcfc and draw with stoke, its a crazy season
Full steam ahead... up and at them, give no quarter. We shall all go to hell! Or we shall all go to Heaven. But by God Almighty we shall do it by fighting!
While i totally agree with the need to have a right go at Chelsea tomorrow, i disagree with your comments about MH. Yes, MON is also a great manager and I for one would have preferred him to MH. But it's too easy to blame MH for our current position. Without going into the details again, the goons, players, refs, NW and MH all have to share equal responsibility for our position in the league. To only blame MH, is a tad ridiculous and does not look at our whole season. Under NW this team and club were sinking fast. It's not easy to reverse a sinking ship. Agred MON did it, but most managers need time. MH is an experienced manager and will make us successful in the future. But to solely blame him for our league position, come on, you're having a laugh!!!!
The difference with Martin O'Neill is he inherited a pretty decent squad and with a few tweaks and his excellent man-management got them performing at the level they were capable of. I thought Steve Bruce had made some excellent signings last summer and couldn't understand how poorly they were performing, O'Neill had the answer but he'd have had a hell of a more difficult job with our squad given the same circumstances as MH faced...
As much as we need some sort of result today (please God we keep 11 on the pitch), looks increasingly like we'll also need a point in the last game at the Etihad. That means the outcome of tomorrow night's game between the Mancs is so vital for us. If United win it decides the premiership title in good time. If City nick at least a point, our game against them will be up hill ALL the way. (Not for the first time lately) COUReds!!
