First off, ignore the idiots saying that we're having a laugh thinking we're getting into the CL. We've had our bad days this season, we are where we deserve to be.

Next, I'm sick of people targeting single players in a **** team performance. There were several fans giving Danny Simpson abuse today. I know he was ****e, but it's unfair to pick on one player.

Danny Simpson never gets a break. When he's playing well he might get some applause but he only really gets judged when he has a mare like today. He's constantly used as a scape goat.

SHUT THE **** UP PICKING ON HIM!

Ok to my main point, maybe we could have done with that before the Chelsea game. Wigan wanted that so much more than us, you could see it. IMO our team looked stunned and didn't at all expect this Wigan side to show up.

I hope Pardew and the team will reflect upon this and spend time really getting their heads back into the game. It's been all good over the last couple of months, IMO we were due a hammering.

Well done Wigan, they were outstanding today, and whenever I watch them, the only reason I can see why they're down at the bottom of the league is they don't always score the goals required. They've always played some nice football.

I don;t think we were that terrible, we were bad, but we weren't absolutely catastrophic, Wigan were just too much for us.

    Ratings -

Krul - 3 - His worst ever performance for me. His positional play was dreadful a his decision making was also pants. Made a great save to stop us going 5-0 down, but didn't do much else.

    Simpson - 2 - ****.

Willo - 5 - Not that bad actually.

Colo - 5.5 - Unlucky with that clearance for the second goal. Overall he wasn't bad. I don't know what he was doing on the left wing, but he was getting forward and trying to lead by example. When you're 4-0 down your ball playing CB might as well run with the ball, we had nothing to lose.

Santon - 5 - Some great runs forward, forced Wigan into fouling him. Not a great defensive display though.

Tiote - 5 - Not that bad, but not good either. Some awful passing at times, but did look to get us forward and made some fantastic long passes which I didn't know he had in his locker.

Cabaye - 4 - A few great passes, but overall not good at all.

    Jonas - 3 - Pants today.

HBA - 5 - Made some great runs forward, just couldn't finish.

Ba - 3 - Unlucky not to score, but some woeful passing and he just got swamped by Wigan's defence.

Cisse - 4 - Came close to scoring at times, but didn't really offer a lot all game. Disappointing.

Not even going to bother rating the late subs

We've normally responding well to **** results like this so lets home we can do the same vs Chelsea.

This, after every loss (especially the heavy ones) we have had a great and convincing reaction.

We will lose all 3 remaining fixtures.

No point in supporting the team if you throw abuse at players.

Every team must have an off day. Thankfully most of our team crap today so hopefully it's out of their system and we can play our natural game on wednesday. Didn't help with Pardew changing the system as it looked like players didn't know what they were supposed to be doing/marking. We will come good again.

Hang on Tash you gave Tiote the same mark as Ben Arfa, Tiote is a waste of space who has done nothing all year, needs dropping. Ben Arfa looked a threat and was worth a 7 for me.

Tiote is certainly not a waste of space mate. Ben Arfa probably deserved more I agree.

I didn't think Tiote did badly. He covered advancing defenders, played some good passes and wasn't bad throughout the game.

Tiote has had to play with injuries for a lot of the season. When he's been reasonably fit he's shown what we miss without him.

He can recover over the summer and we'll see a consistent Tiote next season.

Match of the Day was fun tonight :)

Wouldn't worry about it though. We went to Wigan and won 4-1 after getting battered for the first 20 mins.

Rofl I don't know which goal was better. Gardner's goal vs Wigan or Di Santo's goal vs us today.

Tiote did nothing I watched Cabaye was pissed off because he was fed up of him and if hadn't been taken off would have been sent off. I've always defended Tiote but after day no more he was gutless pulling out of tackles and a disgrace to the colours.

Said it on another thread yesterday but Willo and Simpson were shocking from what i saw yesterday (only watched 1st half), Thought Santon looked good though, he has really made an impression the last few weeks.

We were poor across the board and it seems to have resulted in some bizarre views from many!

Have to say I can't see any misfortune in Colo's clearance, it was pure rank and should have been put safe. Had one of his poorer games. Simpson had one of his bad ones and he is probably ready for a break. Thing is he has always bounced back the game after a stinker previously. I think Willo had a mare and was weak as piss for the first goal. His arse went under pressure again and he typified our mentality when under siege. Panic!! We know his limitations though so getting on his back won't help. Krul didn't fill me with confidence yesterday but again its easily forgiven. His angles on Maloneys goal were poor. I thought Santon did quite well and looks quality. Jonas - ****ing hell, was he on the sauce on Friday! Again easy forgiven. Cabaye did ok in spells but we struggled with their set up and he was lost. Benni did well 2nd half but was shocking 1st. Lost possession cheaply an alarming number of times. Front two were off the pace but chasing shadows to be fair. Generally we just looked off the pace. Whether it was down to preparation or mental approach, I'm not worried about us from here on in. If there is one thing we've done well this season, its reacted well to bad displays.

Not sure where this Tiote stuff is coming from? He's had a good if truncated season. He was poor yesterday but there was no pulling out of tackles? Drop him? Crazy talk. He is a key member of our side and big part of our success and progress. Calling him a disgrace to the shirt Cbra, is a inaccurate low blow to be honest
