The pressure is all on Nigel now, how is he going to maintain the record of getting promotion every season?

 

I think it was just the pressure getting to everyone, being so close and yet so far for the last few weeks. But we have made it over the line, and all we should think about for the next week is WE ARE GOING UP, celebrate, be merry and be thankful for all the hard work everyone at Southampton FC have put in to get us back to the Premier League

 

2013 - survival
2014 - top half finish
2015 - europa league
2016 - champions
2017 - world domination

 

sorry, can't wait that long for world domination, how does 2015 sound?

 

Ok that sounds about right. But then what do we do in 2016 and 2017?!

This Premier League season isn't even over yet and I'm already getting frustrated waiting for the next one.

 

At least we can relax and watch out for next season's opposition now.

What a Fantastic day,what a fantastic season!
It's been quite tight over the last few weeks but we're over the line now and what a feeling it is to get into Premier League after being in league 1 two years ago and facing an uncertain future.

Thank You Markus and Cortese!Cortese and Adkins will bring more and more success to our great club in the future I'm sure of it.

 

From a POSH fan well done Saints, just hope West Sham don't go through the play offs. There will be many posters who will say you will be doomed in the Premiership and that is disrespetful, but I recall several of your fans who at the start of the season said POSH would go straight back down !!

Afternoon Everyone. I'm a regular reader of the forum, but (very) rare contributor. Had to come on and say how proud of the boys I am today and how gutted I was not to be there. What a couple of years it's been!! I didn't shed a tear either time when we went down, but I've been a blubbering mess since the third one went in this afternoon. Thank you Cortese, Nige and ALL the players who got us there. Bring on the Prem and RIP Markus. COYR!!!

 

Happy Days. Just back. Was scared stiff for first 10 min then nerves settled by goals, including one from Fonte. Could see him and Jos with their heads together before the ball was put in and knew something was going to happen. Great when a plan comes off. What an atmosphere!!

 

Congrats to nigel, the team, all at the club, and to you guys who have been at SMS week in, week out. Wish i was there tojoin the party
