I know many would love to have the opportunity to just be able to watch all the Arsenal games on television, in fact, to have access to all the football games in high quality....Well there are channels, good channels, that actually provide the services, in full english, with an english studio etc.

If any of you are in London, just pop down to Edgeware road, and check out the tv-satelite shops, these guys have channels from the middle east, such as Abu Dhabi Sports HD, and Al-Jazeera sports, both of these channels put SKY to shame with their coverage and amount of football they show.

Abu Dhabi Sports HD SHOW EVERY SINGLE PREMIER GAME LIVE, in English commentary, EVERY SINGLE ONE. Al-Jazeera on the other hand have full coverage of every Champions League Game, the Spanish League, Spanish Cup, Italian League, Italian Cup, Fa Cup, Carling Cup, Community Shield, and the Europa League. In fact Gary Linekar is employed as their host too for football coverage, amongst all the other pundits you see in sky (Al-Jazeera sports are based in London too, as well as Italy, and Spain).

Oh not to mention these sports channels also have coverage of all the other major sporting events if any are interested, such as tennis etc, as i said, they put sky sports to shame with their sports coverage, and if you're a major footie fan, you need these channels, as they literally show so much football, even when it's not live, they always have football on. And I repeat, their coverage is in English.

  2. Yeah but Abu Dhabi sports requires a HUGE dish to pick it up - unless of course you subscribe to their online streamign service (by pretending to be in Egypt <whistle>).

All the European stations need a card to watch PL footie - eg Sky Italia costs £1200!

It's an utter shame you actually have Premier League TV, which is where all the international sports channels get their coverage from, yet EPL tv is not available in the actual host country, most people don't even know of it's existence.

Are these channels available with any PC TV software? You won't even need a sat dish.

Someone all the way in Dubai has access to every single Arsenal game, every single League game, yet someone in England, the actual country of the league itself, does not....Sky are so f--king greedy, but it's to their loss since they will eventually lose out to a sports network like Al-Jazeera who truly put them to shame in terms of coverage.

Abu Dhabi sports show all the games on website too, but the site is restricted in the UK, but i'm sure there must be a way around it, the guys in the shop would most likely know how, after all, they've managed to be able to set the channel up here in England.
